This book has lots of cool designs and inspiration, and the instructions are simple step-by-step pictures to break down each design into something manageable for a beginner. I think this would be easy enough for kids to follow, but it's also great for adults who just want to have fun. It made me feel confident enough to tackle designs that I would have been intimidated by otherwise. I used Nawod brand acrylic paint markers for these rocks, and I didn't prime them first. I also just painted on the eyes and bee wings and didn't buy the suggested stickers.
