Poor quality finish
This is marketted as a premium heavy duty aluminium, ceramic non-stick griddle pan. Unfortunately the finish wasnt very good. The pan is medium weight (much lighter than my cast iron griddle pan) and the ceramic non stick coating seems good - BUT the outside is coated in a different paint and at the top of the handle the exterior paint has been sprayed over the non stick coating and is flaking off. Running a nail over it loads of it came off (see pics). Not want I want with a cooking utensil as the risk of flakes of paint ending up in the food is high. The bottom of the pan has a rough surface which I don't like either. I prefer steel or copper bottom pans for even heat distribution. The handle is brushed steel and although it is insulated from the rest of the pan, can heat up easily if too close to the gas burner. So all in all I'm disappointed by the shoddy finish on a so called premium pan. Hopefully mine was the exception and just a factory fault.

Great pan, hot handle.
Calling this pan lightweight is a bit of a misleading statement.. it’s light compared to traditional cast iron griddles though - quite significantly so. With this type of pan, I can put a fair amount of stuff around the pan and it all seems to get pretty even heat. though I am not sure my preference is a ridged bottom, I Prefer a flat bottom for frying / gridding. A bug bear of mine is a non stick surface that is either short lived or not non stick enough.. so far this is easy to clean with nothing abrasive, and has a pretty permanent feel about it.. it really feels like a quality item. All round I am a pretty happy customer, with a minor caveat.. for an item in this price range I am surprised they couldn’t make a handle that didn’t get hot. When you get it it is clearly labelled to warn you, and sure enough I found myself lifting it with a cloth.Apart from that though, it works a treat.

Quality Grill Pan
This is a really super grill pan from GreenPan. We already have a GreenPan roasting tin and have been more than pleased with that. As soon as you take this grill pan out of its box you can feel and see the quality. The pan is very solid and well constructed. Its not annoyingly heavy like some grill pans we've used but is weighty enough to sit firmly on our hob, meaning its easy to move about. The handle feels really good in the hand (again you feel the quality) and only becomes a little warm when in use. The pan is, as it promises, very easy to clean both in or out of the dishwasher. In fact it comes out of the dishwasher looking like new each time. Best of all though is that it produces a goo even grill. Non of that problem with area towards the outer side of the pan not being as hot as in the centre. So.....Looks good, feels good, easy to clean, works brilliantly.....what else do you want.

Great for an Aga - check the size of your oven
One of the challenges of cooking entirely with an Aga is that there is no grill, and often it takes a while for sausages to brown. But this ridged cooking surface holds sausages or kebabs just above their hot fat, so that the base of each sausage browns well and much more quickly at a high temperature. I cooked kebabs last night in the top oven and they cooked much faster than I am used to with a little tasty charring on the edges. This pan is a great size for an Aga top oven - you can just slide the whole pan and handle straight in, pushing the pan to the hot back of the oven, and shut the door. But if your oven is a little less deep, you may have to put the pan in at an angle. Check the size of the oven - you need to be able to accommodate a pan plus handle length of just over 19 inches. And since the pan is square rather than round, it may not push that far in.Although the pan handle can easily be unscrewed and screwed - it is designed for that flexibility - it is obviously easier not to have to do that. The weight of the pan is sturdy - but much lighter than Le Creuset. Washing is great too - a very durable surface that is much better than traditional non-stick pans.

Quality Grilling Pan
A review for GreenPan CC001791-001 Featherweights 100% ToxinFree Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Metal Utensil/Induction/Dishwasher/OvenSafe Square Grill Pan - 26cm - Grey.A very well made square shaped grill pan. This is versatile enough to be used for grilling / baking and frying. The pan feels weighty and substantial enough to feel like a good quality sturdy pan unlike some flyweight pans but at the same time it's not too weighty that it feels unwieldy. The pan is flat bottomed so sits on an induction plate well for good even heating and stability. The ceramic non stick coating minimises food sticking and aids cleaning afterwards, and can even be safely put into a dishwasher for convenient and safe cleaning. The handle is sturdy and is secure in use giving a good level of heat protection. We have used this so far to grill some steaks of fish so far and the results have been good with good even and thorough cooking, so top marks there. Its does seem expensive but for the money you get a great pan with many of the advantages of a cast iron pan without too many of the disadvantages, comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Lighter To Use.
This Ceramic Nonstick Metal pan comes in a rigid, smart-looking cardboard box, complete with a care booklet and warranty. The pan is an attractive mid-grey, has the ribbed base you expect in a cast iron frying/flat cooking pan and is surprisingly light to pick up and use. It is not like a thin, tin job, it does have a satisfying solidity about the weight that makes it a pleasure to handle but it is manageable and not a break-your-wrist affair. The pan heats up very evenly, retains that heat for quite a long time and so is ideal for food that needs sealing then gently cooking. It can be washed in the dishwasher, although I find it simply wipes clean with a speck of oil on kitchen roll. Having a metal handle, it can be used in the oven, so all those super pasta suppers and paellas add easily to one's repertoire. Be aware the metal handle does get hot. There is an auxiliary lip opposite the handle proper and that gets hot too. Have your oven mitts to hand. Having a lid would make it ultra-convenient. I am delighted with this pan. It is solid, beautifully made, very functional, beautifully made and looks smart on the pan shelf.
