The globe feels solid and quality built, heavier than expected. Very good detail and labeling. The globe will remain rotating on its own which is a cool surprise. Really cool thing to show off and look at.

The media could not be loaded. My son LOVES this gadget!Globe is internally lit and slow fades between different colors.Slowly rotates on its own. No need to give it a spin.It's been going for weeks with no glitch or problems.Setting globe in the sweet spot is tricky without included guide, but kinda fun to do.I'd definitely recommend this as an aesthetic tech display item

I bought this for my brother who wanted a Globe. The quality is amazing, and definitely worth it for the price. It takes a little bit to place the globe onto the right spot on the book to float, but it is definitely not difficult. The only thing I wish was different is a setting to be able to choose a color. It would be great to just have an option to have a white (regular color) glow rather than the constant rotating colors (blue, green, yellow, etc). Other than that, this was a great gift and he loved it. If you rotate it (begin rotating by spinning it or blowing on it), it rotates continuously and never stops unless you physically stop it. The color without the inside light is amazing. The blues and greens are vibrant and the land is realistic!Great purchase & I am glad that I bought it.

Beautiful and futuristic product! I had a problem with the first unit that was sent. Make sure you don't try to set it up near an old computer. I emailed the seller and got a new one making sure it wasn't near anything. Use the scaffolding tool and center the globe slowly...then as the globe turns bright green eventually it will float. Remove the scaffolding tool very slowly...taadaa...you are now in the Thirty First century.

Its absolutely a pragmatic fixture to have whether home or in office. The spin can be directed either clockwise or counterclockwise. Additionally, it illuminates varying colors in the dark, where I think its at its best. Countries/continents and seas are well articulated. The magnetism is surprisingly powerful and depends on an arbitrary feel for it (the globe) to be centered (the stand it comes with to initiate focus is not necessary).

I had a previous suspension light, an acrylic moon. It would rotate and the bright light was nice.This globe doesn't rotate, just hangs there. The light inside isn't bright and changes colors which at first I thought, it changed colors as the earth rotates night to day. Since it doesn't rotate it just changes colors, randomly and annoyingly.The book platform is cute but the red light in the back you have to hide that red light. At night it's another light pollution in the room.It is also smaller than you'd think. It says 6 inches at the equator part, but feels like looking at a 4" ball.I passed the return window. For $75+ tax, it's not worth it.

this is so cool. Everyone who sees it loves it. I love the way it changes colors. Its also a nice night light for the living room. The first one the sent didn't change colors. Without an hesitation the company immediately replaced it. Im glad I purchased from this company. Update i have had this for months now. Its on 24/7 still going strong. Now several people in family want one for Christmas.

Bought globe about 4 months ago, worked great and loved it, till now it wont float any more, it will float for a short time, then crashes to base. Have tried numerous times the longest it floated was a couple of hours, it is also hard to get in float mode............loved it when it was working, now it sucks. just a paper weight now.... tooooooo bad i really liked it..... have to give it 2 (two) stars as it did work for awhile, if there is a fix or repair ----- sure would appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gh
