The Mandie Collection (Mandie Mysteries, 24-26)

My daughters love the Mandie series which I love since they were favorites of mine when I was a child. My older daughter (12) has read every single book five times, and my younger daughter (10) wanted her own set for Christmas. The volumes are a better deal than buying the books individually. These are mystery stories that my girls say are exciting and fun.

When I was about 10 yrs old, I received the first, original box set of books 1-5 in the series and was hooked! (that was about 20 yrs ago :) I was fortunate to have a friend who collected the entire series, so I was able to borrow the new sets from her or from our local library. Now I have a niece who is nearing the age that she would enjoy these mysteries so I wanted to have the entire collection to read together with her and/or let her borrow. I LOVE the fact that the series is now volumes bound in 1 book (5 books in 1) so that it is fewer individual books to keep track of. Also, there is something to be said for the challenging of accomplishing reading a book that is over 300 pgs. when you are so young.

Well written mysteries that are great for children. My daughter loves them!

My 12 year old daughter loves these books. I love that they have good messages and morals, and they keep kids interested. She can't put them down! I wish I could find more books like this that I can be comfortable with her reading.

I love the they have action and misfired and they are a good amount of pages the only thing I would chance is more pages

My 9 year old granddaughter loves this series. She told me that one of the things she really likes about it is the way the stories build on each other. I am sure that when her three younger sisters are old enough, they will also enjoy reading this series.

I loved these books as a child. It's great to be able to purchase them in volume sets now!

This book was very interesting as Mandie is quite adventurous, I really love adventurous story's. The first story was my favourite, because all this trouble just started and Mandie didn't know who was doing it! Then she found out it was Hilda the girl they found inside the attic.

My daughter thouroughly enjoys this series! It is well written and believable too. Each story contains a mystery, some are real mysteries to solve and some are little girls imaginations dreaming things up. They get involved without acting/behaving like adults. They use the reasoning skills of an 10 to 12 year old child. They are all considered funny with a good moral story in each one. I would highly recommend these.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my niece. It was an instant hit!
