I used it on my ancient Samsonite suitcase that looks just like other Samsonite suitcases! It certainly made it easy to spot on the conveyor. It was always in place at collection, even when my suitcase had been examined by customs.Important note: I read the reviews about it being useless for security since one can just release the buckle lengthening it and allowing it to be slipped off. Before I went I put it on my suitcase, adjusted it, then took it off and sewed the straps together preventing it being released. Problem resolved. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Travel Must Have *by V***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 November 2018* I bought two of these for a recent trip to America and then a cruise easy to use once you work it out and so much more secure than just a single round case strap my boyfriend uses a hard case with a single strap and it kept slipping up the case mine stayed put and he has asked me to order him some he was so impressed with them ! ### ⭐ lock is pointless *by S***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 November 2018* I saw the photo of a lock and a 3 digit code so I was expecting a key, needless to say you don't get a key.So the only way to lock it is by using the 3 digit code ... which is pointless since you can loosen the strap and access the flip switch on the back of the lock to unlock it. Even if it came with a key, you can still loosen the strap so in no way whatsoever, is this secure. A TSA approved lock is only worth its weight in gold if the strap is designed well in the first place, which this isn't.You might as well pay half the price and go for a strap with no lock.Returning to amazon. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/122079189-bluecosto-luggage-strap-tsa-approved-combination-lock-adjustable-suitcase-straps](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/122079189-bluecosto-luggage-strap-tsa-approved-combination-lock-adjustable-suitcase-straps) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
