Direct Connect Central Vacuum Tool Kit with 35ft Hose and Wessel-Werk EBK360 Electric Power Head

Of all the research I did, Wessel Werks came out on top for a central vacuum powerhead. And this one meets expectations. It's powerful, height-adjustable, easy to maneuver. I've put on about 50 hours with this thing, and it's what carpet vacuuming is supposed to be like.The attachments are better than any in the 2 other sets I have. For instance, the "turbo brush head" has a well-designed cleaning hatch that makes that chore a breeze. The crevice tool is longer and narrower than the others I have.Some of the features of the Wessel Werks power head that stand out: The 5-level height adjuster. The LED light. The excellent design of the swivel mount, which lets you get flat under furniture or simply turn directions with a slight twist of the hand. The power head feels self-propelled if you select the proper carpet height.The one thing I'd change: The power head is hard plastic, with hard edges -- I've nicked baseboard and furniture legs with it. Every good vacuum I've owned had a rubber bumper edge to protect furniture; the Wessel Werks could be improved if they did the same. In addition, the extension (the metal "pipe" from the handle to the power head) also has hard-edged plastic pieces, which also nick furniture. These should be rubberized, too (or at least, softened curves on the edges).I'm learning to not bump furniture....... Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied with the machine, hose, and attachments. Shipping was quick, and it was well-packaged.

Update:I will not change my star rating for this seller, but I will say that Wessel-Werk did come through. There is a form on their website for contacting them that it looks like you must use. After some quick back and forth with the reps (and plenty of pictures of the hose, the cuff, the handle, and the serial number), they were able to confirm the product wasn't counterfeit and ship me a replacement. The hose manufacturer for those who may be curious is Plastiflex.Original:The accessories are great for the money, but the hose, the most important part of the entire system, felt flimsy and worried me the second I got it out of the box. The worries were well founded, as the hose tore almost completely through in less than a year while I was putting it away. There is no customer service link on Amazon, and the Wessel-Works email on their site bounces back. If the hose was better quality, even if it cost a few extra dollars (I'll say up to $70 -- $2 per foot), I would give this an automatic buy if you had a new central vacuum system.

The power head is an excellent buy. It has very good cleaning power and is versatile. I love the way it can be 'driven' under tables by spinning the wand. It is very well engineered and you can tell some thought has been given to the design. This is true clear down to the foot release for the wand.The wand is good quality and seems very sturdy. I have 5 young kids, and if it can be broken, they will figure out how. However, I think this is durable enough to give us years of service. I marked down the set by one star only because the wall hanging accessory doesn't really handle the wand that comes with this. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars because some of the other stuff is truly great. Other than that, I think the power head, wand, hose combo is 5 star and would say that it is a great buy.

It came early than expected which was a pleasant surprise. As for the vacuum it is great so far. I was doubtful because some of the reviews. But I’ve been using fewer my since my Purchase because of my dogs and cat. No more left over due in my thick plush carpet.

Great product at a great price. When I purchased my house it included a wonderful central vacuum but had the attachments from 1992. This is a huge improvement. It does a great job. I love the adjustable handle and how easy it is to attach the additional attachments. It has much better suction and is quiet. The swivel allows me to go under furniture very easy. I am so glad I decided to purchase this product. I also had a question when I received the item and the seller was very quick to respond and everything was resolved with ease. Great customer service, product and price...could not ask for more. THANK YOU!!

I went through several kits because we have super think carpet, and when I found this one we no longer have to worry about the suction grabbing the carpet not being able to vacuum normally, so hands down this works greaT for me and price is reasonable compared to others units

Great combination of tools. The powerhead is powerful and the hose is 5 feet longer than the one we previously had. This replaced a Beam and this is so much better. The extra 5 feet helps get to places we had to do by hand before. The Vacuum Center Superstore was great to deal with. Answered all my questions and it arrived within a couple of days. Highly recommend them.I originally rated this as a 5 star. Now, it doesn't deserve 1 star. The powerhead worked fine until yesterday. It just stopped working. If you tap the powerhead the light comes on for one second and powers it for one second. Not happy after only having for 10 months and it is an expensive unit. At least my Beam lasted 10 years.

Great deal and great quality. Are there nicer versions out there, sure, but this is great and does a fantastic job. Love the Wessel-Werk head.
