LorAnn Superstrength Butterscotch 4 oz.

I had not used butterscotch flavoring before using LorAnn Oils flavoring. As the bottle states "super strength," I reduced the amount called for in my recipe for fear of over flavoring. Not. It is a good flavoring, but not super strength. So, if you are considering using this product, use whatever your recipe calls for.

Great flavor and fast shipping.I add 3 drops to sugar free chocolate pudding ad 2 drops to sugar free butterscotch pudding and the flavors are sooooo much better!

I think the product is probably very good—it's definitely super-strong! I haven't had a good experience with it, though, because being only used to normal strength flavorings I haven't known how much to use when substituting it for normal-strength. Directions on the label would have helped, and the explanation on the site (use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per 1 cup butter or fat) is not a straightforward substitution, and is not useful in all circumstances. I bought the flavoring primarily to make things that don't use fats, so in my case the product has not been user-friendly.
