Very tasty; one of very few shelf-stable cheese products.
Very tasty uncolored pale cheese in shelf-stable packaging. When I keep this around I'm always tempted to snack on it when instead I should probably just make a quick trip to the store. It's nice to keep a sealed package in the desk at work with some crackers for those occasions when you're working late but don't want to step away nor order delivery. While expiration date is an important indicator of manufacture date, and you'd want fresh product if you were planning on storing large amounts of this, don't take the expiration date literally on drugs or food products. Different products deteriorate at different rates, and the single largest outside variable is temperature -- higher temperatures always cause faster degradation in all things. Manufacturers often just put a pro forma one year expiration date on everything. I personally wouldn't hesitate to keep and eat this well past the expiration date. Although any food will lose some flavor and texture over time, there is no implication for food safety the day after the 'expiration date'.

Good tasting for cooked cheese meals.
This is pretty good cheese. It's very similar in texture and taste to the Red Feather canned cheese but the Red Feather cheese is less expensive and is canned in a heavier can, allowing a longer shelf-life. I've researched food safety in canned foods and have learned that cans with pull tabs have significantly less shelf life than those without.Between the pull tab and the thinner can, and probably due to lawyers as well, this has a 1 year shelf life. Mine had canned dates and best by dates so I know that one year is the Kraft recommended limit. This is a pretty good tasting cheese, very usable in grilled cheese sandwiches, any other cooked cheese application, and not too bad even raw. If you can't get any other canned cheese for storage, or if you find this cheaper than the Red Feather, I would recommend it. Just don't keep more than you would use in a year or so. If you're looking for a cheese that tastes like aged cheddar from the deli, this is not that. If you approach this with an open mind for what it is intended - safe, storage of something you can't otherwise store for long - then this is good stuff to have on hand.

I expected something special....this ain't it!
Boy, did I make a mistake buying this godawful stuff. I was looking for something to transport while hiking that was light and, hopefully, nutritious! First, it's made in Bahrain! Kraft should be ashamed to be associated with such a horrible product. The consistency is waxy and there is almost no flavor. It was impossible to spread on crisp crackers. It broke apart in chunks! Amazon....do your homework, please!

Tastes Good
Very similar to to the canned type of this cheese. Well, it tastes same to me and it is not a creamy whipped cheese. I have been purchasing the older canned cheese for years but seems this new packaging replaces it. Rumor is Kraft is thinking about coming back to Chicago for manufacturing this cheese.

Good for camping, emergency rations, and would likely be a decent trout bait, too!
Ok, but not a super long shelf life. And the Bega canned cheese was much tastier and had a longer shelf life. So, try the Bega first, then this.Good for camping, emergency rations, and would likely be a decent trout bait, too!

Bent cans
The cans were all bent , probably had nothing to do with the product but was damaged during delivery and it was for long time storage and now I am afraid to leave it in the damaged can.

Best processed cheese!
I love this cheese! I was so excited to find them online and on amazon. This cheese is overpriced on amazon but nonexistent in the USA....so I splurged, and bought a few tins. Overall awesome cheese, but a bit pricer than it needs to be. These tons go for $2 to $3 a tin in India, Sri Lanka and Australia.

Bad quality, near expiry date.
I've buy this product many times before but this time the quality bar drops really low, almost 1or2 months left to expired with reddish in colour and way too much salty. As a prime customer for over 3years this is the first time I'm really disappointed with this particular product, I don't recommend any person to buy this product anymore.
