Very low quality, very short guaranty period
Low quality, failed with in 3 months, it looks like they have a timer to fail after the guaranty is expired

Works great, just make sure the signal is no higher than +5db!!
At first I was having problems getting the box to tune in channels but after talking to tech support I found out that if the signal is too hot (over +5db) the tuner will not work. I put several db pads on the coax and now the box has every channel it should. It's a handy box if you have a TV without a tuner or old TV with an analog tuner.

Works, but not as expected.
I bought a TV without a tuner, and wanted this product to tune in my local channels through my cable TV RF connection. This product did not function as expected. When scanning channels, it tuned into channels with no video, that had really long numbers. After calling ZeeVee costumer service, they were able to get me to manually search my local channels in the 70 to 79 frequency range. While this did find my local channels, this box will not store them in the channel that I know of. For instance, my local channel 4 station, has always been channel 4.1 on the TV. This tuner only stores it based on the frequency, in this case, channel 4 is 70-1004. I had to go in and manually scan frequencies 70 to 79, then change the names of the channels to make this tuner box function for me. In the end, this tuner box worked. It was a pain get to this point. I wish I was able to find something better. TV screens with tuners seem to have no problem tuning in the channels correctly. Finding an external TV tuner that works the same, seems very difficult.

Nope. Not what I expected. Little to zero documentation. Called the company before I made the purchase. They didn't even express a confidence in their product. My fault. Purchase something else. Anything!

Attenuate the input, and then it will see the channels.
I'm using this to monitor a digital TV channel that I'm generating using a QAM modulator. I read a review for this tuner that said you must *reduce* the signal input level or else it won't see the channel. I stacked three coax splitters in series (used the outputs only, which I believe gives a significant dB loss) and it worked beautifully.A little trim pot on the back to allow the user to add attenuation would be nice, but for this price I really can't complain.
