Awesome, looks good, I just need 19 more!
I love this thing. I've been trying to find a good, reliable and sticky thermometer for my tanks. I have about 20 and am tired of the cheap ones failing out falling off, then out, of the tank. They also fail often, never last long, sometimes change tempature readings from f to c without me asking. Not to mention accuracy! It's awful. I care too much about my little fish friends, shrimp, plants and yes, snails lol... To play the "I hope the temp is close" game.I wasn't sure I wanted to spend this much on a thermometer for every tank but recently I had new heaters in 3 tanks that failed. I ordered a few different thermometers to try, one failed immediately. This one is accurate, looks good, super easy to use!!!! Seriously! Under a minute to read the instructions then had my too high and too low temps set. I feel better just having that alarm option.I'm definitely going to be getting these for all my tanks, a couple every month. It's worth it.If I could change one thing it would be that this meter light up brightly when the alarm is going off... Finding out which tank is beeping will be amusing lol! I'm not the only multi tank hobbiest, it would help immensely!I will update this, as I always do, the moment anything changes. I want my feedback to remain accurate since it's how I make a choice on products here (have you read the reviews on heaters?! Does anyone make a reliable aquarium heater? Good grief lol)

Easy to use
At first I was a bit confused because there was already a battery in it, but there was a replacement battery that came with it. It was easy to use and install. The sensor will automatically take the room temperature first when it turns on but then it slowly starts to sense the water in the aquarium. It's actually nice and it looks nice.

Easy to read
Working great and easy to read. I am disappointed that it sticky mounts to the exterior surface of my tank. I makes wiping down the outside of the tank a hassle. I still use the mercury thermometer on the opposite end of the tank, just to keep an eye on the accuracy. But one month in use, it is doing great.

Coral Saver
Wow, this has been amazing. I had a heater go rogue on me and continue heating my tank up to nearly 90 degrees before I figured out why everything suddenly looked so awful! I have extremely limited space (my tank takes up the entire cabinet top with not so much as a quarter inch left over) and didn't want something dangling in my display so I decided to give this a try. It's very large and the image is very crisp/easy to see, so if you put it on your main viewing surface, it may be a bit of an eyesore, especially on a small tank. But I run a AIO and mounted this to the glass along the sump, where you look straight through to the black inner chambers. This really dims down the reading and makes it extremely unobtrusive, while still being perfectly legible. I absolutely love being able to glance at the tank and tell what the temperature is, and every time I've tested it, it has been spot on. If you've got a dark/out of the way corner of your tank to stick this to, go for it!

Things to consider
This was an impulse purchase for me. I really like it but here are some things you might want to know :* It’s not tiny and on a nano tank it takes up some room. I placed it on the side.* It reads the water temp through the glass. There are no sensors placed in the water.* It sticks on the outside of the tank with included double sided tape. It sticks very firmly. They do not include extra tape so it might be an issue in future.* It’s not marked waterproof and does not seem waterproof. I would try NOT to wet this item.* An extra battery is included.* The set up instructions on the package are vague and confusing. The best instructions are written on amazon with the ad for this item.* It’s super easy to read and appears very accurate ( I’m using it along with a standard in water temp monitor )*You will need another way to check water temps in bucket when your adding water to your tank.Overall , I love it and I’m happy with the purchase.

very frustrating
the only good thing about this product is that it is aesthetically pleasing. the cons are as follows:- never made steady contact with the glass. always lost connection with the glass unless i was applying pressure to the adhesive part.- since it always lost connection/ reading the glass is always reset. every time it loses connection it resets to celsius, so i could never read it correctly without having to touch it and adjust it back to Fahrenheit.- every time i touched it to get it back to Fahrenheit, it would zero out again because once i removed the pressure from the device it lost connection with the glass.- and now after using it for officially one month it is completely dead. what a waste of time & money & now i get to go rush & try to find another thermometer for my aquarium. lame product.

Nice, but hard to see.
Nice temp gauge but very hard to see in daylight. If only it would light up this would get 5 stars. One you stick it to the aquarium glass it’s stuck like cement! I highly advise placing it on the front glass about 6” below the waterline.

Have some extra batteries on hand
I loved it until it stopped working after just a couple months, then I realized it was the battery haha. These batteries tend to be sort of expensive so that's not great, but this might be the coolest thermometer I've had. Love how narrow it is -- it doesn't obstruct the view of the aquarium too badly because you can see through it!My only other complaint is that it's permanently mounted. I wanted to move it from one aquarium to another, and I was able to, but it required floss, a lot of strength, and very delicately putting the adhesive back in place. I wish they sent some replacement adhesive in case you ever want to move it -- it's not a cheap thermometer by any means, so it'd be nice to be able to move it to new tanks. Maybe a strong magnet would be better than permanent adhesive. In any case I love it.
