Test Prep: Grade 8 (Flash Kids Harcourt Family Learning)

Perfect end-of-year test book for my homeschooler! Easy tear out pages. Clear writing with pictures. Fun to do. My daughter is halfway through it now with no whining. Be careful buying used though. Lots of pages had writing (not a huge deal), but it was missing some pages, and also missing the answer key in the back which sucked. ChatGPT was able to quickly get answers for me so that I could grade the work quickly.

So helpful for homeschooling curriculum

This is a great way to have kids review the basics before taking the state standardized test. The test tips are very helpful and the information and instructions are very easy to follow for self study.

Very well structured testing material. I recommend it for checking on the leaning progress. Great for making sure subjects were covered sufficiently in school.

I got this for my son who was going to be going into an actual school after 8 years of homeschooling. I thought it would help us find any weak points in his education and to help him prep for his placement test. It was just ok. We actually found some errors in it which is not helpful when it’s supposed to be telling u the correct answer. Also, when it came down to it, it didn’t seem to really help him with the test either. However, I liked being able to see and understand what testmakers wanted to see in someone who was graduating from 8th grade. If I were to have to do something like this again though, I would most likely choose a different resource.

I use Flash Kids Test Prep to prepare my students for the standardized state testing. My students really enjoy the challenge and I love the preparation. The best part is that my students are able to gauge the areas in which they need help. Since I replaced the state's prepared materials with Test Prep my students' test scores have improved considerably.

I am a teacher and a mom. We have been using this brand of test prep books every summer for the past six years. It gives my daughter a boost for when she starts the next grade. Very kid friendly.
