I have mild liver issues caused mainly by hormones and severe mono. I know I need to be careful when I start to get itchy all over from the inside out. This supplement taken daily allows me to mostly live and eat normally. Occasionally I need to also detox with my diet, but this mostly keeps things at bay. Great price and great natural product. Because liver issues and hormones also contribute to my migraines, taking 2 capsules daily helps with those as well. Only heads up re: ALL natural liver supplements: Take them with food and plenty of water because they do contribute to my reflux.

In 1996 - I went through chemotherapy for large cell lymphoma cancer- a tumor in my chest. That tumor eventually caused severe thrombosis (blood clotting of my Superior Vena Cava that was almost diagnosed too late.Since 1996- I've had issues and doctors never could figure out what was going on until 2015 when they realized that my SVC was only 5mm in diameter and so I received a stent in the SVC. I figured this would finally make me feel better. It did cause the heart flutters to diminish and the dizzy spells to subside, but I still felt very tight in my throat and chest area- sometimes worse at times than others. In the last two years my face musclesbegan pulling down, esp. in the morning and evening hours when I would get tired. I thought it might be due to blood flow issues within my compromised veins/arteries. The stent did not help the issue and I was still feeling tightness etc. My doctor wanted to put me on High blood pressure meds but I felt that it would mask the problem. My cholesterol has always been normal. So I went to an herbal store and a lady into iridology told me that my digestion was terrible, that my liver area was very congested, that I did not have good circulation and she told me to eat live foods, etc. I was put on a colon cleanse that must have detoxed me because I felt terrible for a couple of weeks until I got on-line and read that the liver can get toxic overload and that Milk Thistle would help. I began taking Milk Thistle and my face muscles became normal again and I began to feel oxygenated - I can actually breathe deep breaths and have not done that since cancer 18 years ago! I would have never guessed that my liver had caused much of my discomfort all this time. However, It took a trip to the herb store which put me on the right track. I've been amazed, and very thankful.

I purchased this item for to help my liver detoxify after being on oral contraceptives for nearly a decade. This supplement seems to be good quality, but I cannot say for sure how much it has helped.

Milk thistle helps to keep your liver clean and as a result will make you feel better all over. It’s not to be used like a probiotic, eat yogurt for that.

I normally purchase this at Sprouts because it really works! The price on Amazon was amazing, so this will be my new place to purchase it. The product itself does great work for my liver. A year ago my doctor told me to stop taking anything with Acetemetophine in it because of my liver function, but now it's within normal range and my doctor simply can't explain why. I know why!
