Smooth and Clean
I write letters to my grandchildren now that my son was killed in Afghanistan and their mother moved back to North Dakota. All 3 of my grandchildren are under 10 years old. So, it's important to me that HOW my letters look is as important as what the words say. So, with these pens, I can write my loving message, but also make the letter interesting by drawing pictures and characters. Since they are so young, I draw a picture in the place of many words (like a flower instead of the word "flower") so they can read as much of it on their own when they want without an adult having to read it to them. The true-to color pens and smooth flow make my lettersfun and interesting and PRETTY for my grandchildren to read. I do my best to stay in contact with my grandchildren, and these pens help.

Should have read the reviews
Should have read the reviews ahead of time. Straight out of the box the pink doesn't work. Thought they would work nicely when I have to write small, but it isn't as clean as I thought they were. I'll be trying something different next time. I do like the case and varieties of colors given.

To be fair I like the pens
To be fair I like the pens, the felt tipped ones write better but I have a tendency to break the tips when I write too hard. These have good, vibrant colors, but one or two of my pens don't work out of the box. My pink pen is too faint to see, just not enough ink getting through the pen. The working pens are good though.

Awful
These pens were recommended to me - for a class I took that involved journaling. I bought out of trust for the teacher -- but they were awful!! Half of them worked! When they did work, the ink flow was inconsistent. Maybe I got a bum pack?? I would never buy again.
