Very sharp and comfortable
Used it for smaller gauge wire and zip ties

Great leverage makes these work better than larger tools, with a clean cut.
Simply the best for small cuts. The near flush cut works very well and the short jaw combined with the long handle makes these more effective at cutting than even larger tools (for example, these out cut the 8161 by a LOT).We use these to chop through 1/8" polycarbonate rods (gates on a plastic mold) that require a nice clean cut. I've also used them for small wires and some mildly harder jobs. I've only seen a jaw damaged on a batch of 0.030" steel wire, which was clearly misuse of the tool. Otherwise these stay sharp for thousands of snips. The only con is their much touted plastic spring. It works very well until it falls out, which is always does. I get that it's loose to allow it to change positions for more or less resistance, and that is nice, but if Lindstrom could make the handles retain the spring a little better, it would lower my blood pressure a little.

One minor flaw
First of all - the picture is not correct if it shows a yellow handle. The tool has a much nicer blue handle that is a nice upgrade. That is the good news. This is a high quality tool with a minor flaw - the spring is plastic! All the trouble put into selecting the right steel, heat treating it so it will cut the toughest wire with ease, precise machine work, very comfortable handle, and then someone thought it would be a good idea to use a plastic spring that falls out and gets lost. If you need a great little clipper without a spring then this is the clipper for you. If you need a spring, buy something else as this spring does not work and will quickly get lost.

Very good cutter for tighter spaces.
I have owned Lindstrom for many years. I owned a different version of this - no ergo spring. I needed a set like this so I bought them - great price. The new spring is a bit different to use, lacks some feedback like the older metal spring type. They do fit well in your hand, and cut very good.

Jewelry designer's favorite
I work in sterling silver and glass involving a lot of wire wrapping. I stupidly ruined my favorite Lindstrom flush cutters that I have had for about 10 years by chopping away at old forged steel. They are pricey, but I ordered a replacement . They fit comfortably in the palm and the blades give a nice blunt cut, with little waste on the other end of the wire.

maid in spain instead of the old sweden made but still fine quality. don't abuse though! too hard or too big wire will destroy ANY tool.

Best ever tool I’ve ever used
I love that it fits comfortably in your hand and that I can even cut stainless steel wire up to 20 gauge with it. I use it for jewellery making
