Turfliner premium half insole steel inserts in women's size eight. See our other offer for men size 10 and 11, as well as other foot care products in other sizes. Designed for turf toe and other anti-flex foot needs. Specified for flex prevention of the hallux joint of the big toe. Helps immobilize the big toe. Turf toe usually occurs when the big toe is extended beyond the normal range of motion. Helps relieve the pain of arthritis and light sprains and fractures. Also suitable for foot stability after surgery such as bunion removal and distal implants. Recommended by athletic trainers and orthopedic doctors for turf toe injuries. My Medical Warehouse is happy to offer these in a variety of sizes and in both half sole and full sole steel inserts. This order also comes with a free set of 2 PrimeMed toe separators. Our insoles do not come in half sizes! If you wear a half size, the insole that would fit you best would be a size down (example: if you wear an 8.5 shoe, the size 8 insert would fit you best).

Too thick. Won't fit in any of my shoes.
I finally learned from a podiatrist that I need both some cushioning and a rigid sole to minimize my foot pain from bunions, hallux rigidus and arthritis. Previously, I thought I just needed more and more cushioning. Unfortunately, it's hard to find shoes that have both cushioning and a rigid sole underneath the cushioning. I bought these hoping to add rigidity to some of my flexible soled boots. But it is too thick to fit in any of them. It isn't a width or length issue; the felt is thick and there isn't enough depth in the toebox of any of my boots, even the ones that are a bit over-sized for me.I also bought a set of full-length rigid metal inserts from another company at the same time I bought these half-length ones. I had similar problems with full length ones, but they are just a little bit thinner than these, so I was able to rescue one pair of boots I loved from the donation bag.I do have high arches

Worked for a week
Worked for a week. They are only half steel so I knew that but didn’t expect them to slide down so much. Only was able to use for a week before they curled at the heel. Not sure but maybe if you tape it to the insole it would help? Didn’t try.

Practical but did not work for me
I have arthritis/ bone spur pain in the big toe joint and cortisone shots are no longer effective. Trying these to avoid surgery but in my saucony shoes unfortunately they were not effective at all. They are good insoles and perhaps I need to try them in a different shoe but I was disappointed I could still bend my toe in them.

Ok
These were ok at first. But over time (after a couple months of 3x week wear) the heel portion material folds up and skews the insole so that the forefoot (where the Steel plate is) slides down in the shoe and no longer protects the toes.

If you have "turf toe", get these inserts.
This product would have gotten 5 stars, but the description wasnt descriptive enough. Had to return them. The "felt" on the product is wool. I have a wool allergy. I called the company and they researched it for me, and confirmed the felt was wool. They were very helpful.
