Good for Airplane travel
I bought this as a gift for someone to use for transporting a revolver on the airlines. Seems sturdy enough, it's FAA approved and has (2) places for adding your own locks. The interior foam is very dense and I would expect will protect the firearm during transport. Good value and price.

Roomy but bulky
Fits my three hands guns for travel to the range but I suggest you check out the depth in inches as its far deeper than one needs to simply carry a few hand guns - like 4+ inches of foam padding each side. Also, its very functional looking - not sleek in any way. Again, suits my purpose but know its bulk and plain jane appearance in advance.

Good case for going to the range
This is a bit bigger than I anticipated but it works great. Holds my handgun and several extra mags along with a box of ammo . I custom cut the padding to fit it all qith no issues.

Thick, sturdy plastic outside and dense, egg-crate type foam inside. I fit four full size handguns in the case without issue.

you get what you pay for
for the price I did not expect much and didn't get much.Latches are garbage and are very weak and poorly made, I expect they will be breaking soon.Serves my purpose to meet the state transport laws to have firearms in a locked case during transit. Since I travel in SUV the guns must be in a locked case since I am not able to lock them in car trunk.If you plan to ship using this case forget it, you firearms will not survive well but for an SUV ride to and from the range it is adequate.
