I really love the first years brand
One of the first sippy cups I bought as a new mom was a the first years pack of two. They have outlasted several other sippy cups I've bought, including nuby. The things I didn't like about other brands I've tried like and including nuby were as follows: their weird twist lock lids that had no purpose to me except to make the bottle harder to open when it came time to clean it, the ridges in the bottle where milk would settle when I was out running errands and didn't have time or place to wash it right away, the several components in the bottle that needed special brushes to wash, and finally, the lifespan of the nipple on these soft tip sippy cups being way too short. The nipples crack and then milk leaks out all the time. Well, I threw all those broken nipple sippy cups away when I got these. WHY "the first years" design is superior is as follows: ease of cleaning, that's very important. I don't need several special brushes th get into the nooks and crannies of this design. You only have three components to wash, the lid, the nipple and the bottle, smooth and easy to disassemble-this saves me time when washing. Durability, as stated above, my the first years sippy cups were the first ones I bought and have outlasted every other I've purchased afterward. That's why I went searching for more and how I found these. Leak proof: these don't drip a pool of milk all over the place when left on their side. However, I've found that the nipple on these CAN be pushed into the bottle so as long as my child doesn't figure that out, I won't have any issues (recently she likes to take the lids off of the 360 cups and dump her water out on to the floor, so I have had to transition to straw water bottles by the first years brand). I'm not sure why these nipples can be dislodged with force into the bottle because with the smaller sippy cups of the same brand there was an excellent seal and this was not an issue. Even still, this product brand is my favorite and I will continue to purchase from the first years and recommend them to parents. Superior products, guys! Good work!

Immediate spout cleaning
I love these bottles. I hate that the spouts get tarnished with milky substance very easy and I haven't found any replacement spouts.

I'm having a love-hate relationship with this product
Overall, I like this cup. The mouthpiece, being silicon, is stable and isn't going to off-gas plastizers like plastics will. It's easy to clean and my grandson can hold this easily. There are a few downsides.-- When kids get to be 10 to 12 months of age, they tend to want to start sticking things into holes. The drip-proof function of this cup is dependent on a thin silicon membrane which a kid can quickly destroy. This wouldn't be much of an issue if the manufacturer actually sold just the mouth pieces. Instead, the only solution is to purchase more cup sets. (I've purchased three sets so far.)-- If the bottle is dropped, and lands with the mouth-piece first, it can get knocked into the bottle and make a mess. It's happened once in several months of using these bottles.-- We use these bottles in two different ways. We'll put water in it and give it to the grandson to carry about and drink on demand. The second is using it to give milk before a nap. For the first situation, you can tighten the cap down tight enough so the child will not be able to unscrew it. But the bottles are a bit touchy for the second usage. In that case, it is desirable to have the bottle allow air in to replace the milk (liquid) that's been drunk. If this doesn't happen, you get a vacuum in the bottle and it's hard to drink from it. These caps are a bit touchy to get just the right tightness to allow air in while drinking.All-in-all, I like these bottles, although I would really appreciate being able to purchase new mouth-pieces.

Finally…the Perfect first sippy cup
My little guy didn’t want to get off his bottle. He only wanted his Timmy tippee. I tried munchkin cup with no spout , NUK, you name it…nothing worked. Until my friend with a toddler introduced me to these! My now three year old (yeah I reviewed a bit late), is comfortable with every kind of cup now. I have like 15 of these now lol

1 leaks 1 doesn’t. Sucks to clean. SUPER sturdy.
Out of the 2, one leaks when you tip it over, and the other one you can completely smash it in to the couch and it doesn’t leak at all. So I bought a second batch and THR SAME THING. one leaks and the second doesn’t AT ALL. weird. My son throws these down on our tile floor constantly and not a scratch or dent. That’s amazing. It sucks to clean though. There’s so many crevices that I have to use a tooth pick to clean in. Water would be perfect with these cups. But when my son drinks juice or milk I dread cleaning them.

No replacement spouts.
Awesome cups, until the slit in the spout breaks. Can't find replacement spouts anywhere. Sad, means the whole cup needs to be thrown out now. Not very environmentally friendly.

My baby loves this sippy cup
Only cup my baby will take that has a soft spout and doesn’t collapse because the way it’s made. My baby will not take hard spouts and other soft spouts collapse or he can easily poke holes in. Easy to clean if you don’t mind taking off the spouts to clean properly and with a nipple brush to get inside and around the spout really good.
