Why did you pick this product vs others?: This says it's for seafood but I use it on everything. It's one of the best spice blends I've ever found, but I had no idea it was going to come in a mega bag this large. What a value for my money! I've also been able to gift it to friends because of it's large quantity

These prudomme seasonings are fabulous on seafood. I also use the Salmon Majic almost every time. Love them.

The first time I purchased this large container of Paul Prudhomme's Seafood Magic, it was because I had gotten tired of purchasing the small bottles of this seasoning over and over again. Still, I was worried that I might not use enough of it to make it worth the economical price. I should have known better. This makes my 3rd purchase of this seasoning. The seasoning is classic Prudhomme. I use it on a variety of fish, especially catfish that crisps up in the air fryer. Having the larger container also gives me a reason to find more and more uses for it, like on poultry and tofu (also air fryer or pan fried). It also keeps its "zing" a long time.

Nothing comes close to any of Paul Pruhomme's Magic. Years ago I was gifted a complete set of Magic seasonings. Loved them and tried to buy them locally which wasn't always easy to do. Plus the small 2 oz bottles were so expensive at $5-$6 a pop. Was thrilled to find the large 24-Ounce canisters on Amazon. Frankly, I don't need the specialized seasonings. I use one "flavor' for all seafood, chicken, meats, vegs. I prefer the Seafood Magic because it's a little spicier than the Poultry and Meat Magics. The Redfish Magic is also quite similar and I've bought a canister of that when it's been cheaper than Seafood Magic. I store the open canister in the refrigerator and it keeps it flavor fresh for many months. But we use it on everything so it doesn't linger around for ages in this household.

We've been enjoying Seafood Magic for years... My wife turned me onto it about 12 years ago....some awesome shrimp scampi. mmmmmm. The can got so low I had to order another. The can arrived quickly and as expected...the product is awesome. I highly recommend this product. I expect people will experiment with their own recipes and probably won't be disappointed.

It is a tasty blend of spices that goes with meats, eggs, poultry, not just seafood. It can be used as a dry rub.

Instead of paying the extreme price I would have to pay at the grocery store I just use this to refill the small bottles

I like everything about Paul's spices. They are always excellent and you don't need to use them on any particular food, experiment and find a whole new world. For instance Seafood Spice is excellent on and in egg dishes!

Just in case you are wondering, a 24oz can is a pretty big so worth the money.
