It filled the holes and was easy to scoop up and save. It has no noticeable odor. Good consistency. It dried quickly to a whitish color. Good value as always.

I bought this joint compound to mix into my paper sculpting art. It worked beautifully, the texture and thickness is nice and smooth, almost fluffy. This made it extremely easy to combine with the pulp. It is a great size for the money (I added some pics below to get an idea of size). For my projects, while I'm blending the ingredients, I don't want the joint compound to dry quickly as I need to mix everything well, so this worked great. I would recommend this to anyone using it for paper sculpting 100%.

For the size of the container, the Joint Compound was very expensive. I guess I forgot how much water weighs, so I'll take the credit for this mistake. Also, because it was very wet, it takes a long time to dry. In 70F temp with 30% dry humidity, my hole repairs took about 8 hours to harden. I was also shocked at the shrinkage, as I typically use sheetrock 45 and make my own mix on a hawk - I don't notice that mix shrinking nearly as much. On a good note, it applies dark grey and then dries to white. 2nd application worked well as did the sanding. Material set up very hard and works well, has great coverage and adhesion. A minor annoyance was the dried mud stuck to the plastic lid which flaked into the clean mud surface when the lid was opened. All in all - it works well for small do-it-yourself projects, albeit at an expensive price.

A little bit goes a long way ,it dries quickly ,sands easily .

Easy to use, but size is large for nail/screw patches when redecorating. Wish they offered a smaller size. It's thick but not too thick that it's hard to work with. I Filled in the screw holes and scrape it smooth. Once dry, if you take a damp paper towel, you can easily wipe away the excess that's around the filled hole, and then paint over it.
