Global TrussJr Clamp for F23/F24 Truss

I recently bought a used chair at a thrift store for $10. I discovered the lift function was broken, and I needed at least an extra inch height to sit in it comfortably at my desk. The cheapest fix that came to mind was to use a strong clamp, and this fit the bill perfectly. I hated to spend as much on the clamp as I did on the chair, but kind of glad I did. This clamp is very solid quality, so I'm not worried about the compression force I'm applying in a manner it really wasn't designed for. After seeing it, I'm thinking of ordering four more to place on vertical posts at my desk to mount a pegboard for tools and parts. But knowing me I'll procrastinate until I've completely run out of desk space.

I.D. Not as advertised

These are excellent clamps. I bought them to use as a better mount for my Paul Buff Vagabond Minis. The VML clamps are plastic and prone to unclamping from my light stands at random times. These clamps are ON when attached and do not let go. I had to change bolts, but that was just a quick trip to the hardware store.

Solid piece. The size I ordered was 1.5 inch but its the circumference not the diameter. So keep that in mind.

I used these to mount a shovel on the roof rack of my truck. I am giving three stars because the threads have rusted badly. I have to keep putting anti seize on the threads. I know they sit outside year round, but I expected more. I guess I ask to much, but stuff is expensive.
