I upgraded from a Godox 860. It seems a bit brighter. I like the locking hot shoe mount. It makes for a sturdier connection over the Godox 860 screw tight mount. The menues are intuitive and I didn't need a manual to adapt from the previous model.

The media could not be loaded.  There's a lot to like about the new Godox V1 speedlight. I purchased the Sony version.The round head is the obvious new feature. Which can come in handy if you are using the flash off camera. For on camera use though, it's not a big deal.It is compatible with th AK-R1 accessory pack which is great. This replaces the need for Magmod accessories.The interface has been redesigned. On balance it's improved but I wish that Godox would introduce a way to change power by 1/3 increments instead of either full stops or 0.1 stops.The LED light is quite useful if you need a little tickle of light. It won't be replacing your LED panels but at a pinch it is useful to have.The wireless scanning feature lets you use the strongest signal to minimise misfires.Overall it continues to show that Godox are happy to keep improving their products.I feel this is a great speedlight for someone switching from OEM units and wish to invest into the Godox ecosystem.If you already have v860ii and magmod accessories then I wouldn't necessarily ditch them and rush out to upgrade.

First off, this seller is amazing. This product is not even out yet for another week or so. I received it in a quick timely manner as soon as I placed my order. Right out of the box, the battery has some charge on it and I was able to take it out for some sample shots. It performed well above my expectations. The round head feature is definitely going to be the selling point of this flash because of the way it distributes light evenly. Overall, its a very solid unit and I could honestly say that this is the best flash I have ever owned. Definitely worth the money.

Battery charges and holds power as confirmed by a multimeter but the flash itself doesn’t work. Have troubleshot it with no luck. Bummer.

This light is extremely powerful. Very handy. I love I've used it in night and day and have taken nice photos.

Works fast, usage of battery get you working a full gig on a single charge and if you've got more than one you can simply and fastly go with one Master and Slaves flashes. Works great, looks good, only caveat is I would have prefered it to be in metal, but at this price point I know I cannot ask for a miracle.Get one, or more.

Der Fuß ist mit 4x ~2mm SChrauben gesichert die in Kunstoff geschraubt sind. Die brechen natürlich bei der kleinsten Bewegung raus,Ich habe schon 4 von den Füßen gebrochen. Wenn man auf einen Stuhl steigt. Der Ruck nach oben reicht schon und der Blitz bricht am Fuß ab.Eine schnelle Bewegung, Fuß ist ab.Sonst guter Blitz.

I've been using this speedlite at my studios for around 4 years and decided to buy a second one as I was really happy with the quality, Godox have improved a few things now, they include a pouch to keep the unit safe. Battery life is incredible, you can run on 1/2 of the power for around 4-5 hours when shooting on a standard e-commerce session. Really recommend this speedlite.

光量が安定している。ニコンのsb-5000、sb-700も使用していたがsb-5000 と比較して連続使用した際のチャージが遅いが、sb-700よりも早い印象。ラウンドフラッシュということ、マグネットで簡単に光の質を変えられること、値段などを加味すると非常バランスの良い商品。

Using this on my Sony a7iii, it is built like a toy and will the hot shoe connector will break.If they just put a higher quality connector on the flash and not one made from plastic then this would be a 5 Star product.
