Electrical Work DIY Must ⚡️
I’m not an electrician. I am a retired tradesmen of the sheet-metal industry, but I do know some electrical work and I pretty much do my own around the house. This is a valuable tool to own to avoid getting shocks and knowing if you have life current or not.

Trying to avoid a revolting experience
Working MVA's, after disconnecting the battery, it proves beneficial to ascertain if a wire it truly deenergized, before cutting something, not to speak of electric or hybrid vehicles.

Works ok for checking 120 v A/C outlets works great for checking 12 v D/C
This is a good tester but requires some fiddling around with the test leads to get a reading from a wall plug and removal of the test lead covers. Works great as is on D/C voltage. Good Klein product for the price. Much easier to use the no contact tester or a plug in tester if you do not want to stick metal tester probes in the wall socket.

It does what it says on the tin.
I purchased this to go in my hamfest bag. It measures voltage. That's what it's supposed to do.

How many times ahve you been working on a DIY project and wondered is the power on or off? Oh well, let me get to work! and Whammy you got the shock! We've all been there and this will save you, literally and never hurts to be safe!These is SUPER easy to use and while basic, it's a small form factor that is straightforard and simple to operate and a time and shock saver!
