Pocket light with 21700 battery delivers impressive runtime and brightness
The media could not be loaded. Summary: High quality, pocket-sized light with the latest, optimal battery configuration, super efficient LEDS and cool new features comes at a price.Size: fits well in a jacket pocket, you can put it easily in a pants pocket, but it’s not going to be comfortable there unless they are cargo pants.Overall fit, finish, and feel: Like other Olight products, the Seeker 2 Pro gives you a premium feel with the blue anodizing around the bezel and shallow crenellation giving more of a high tech and functional impression rather than tactical. One defect to note – there was an obvious anodizing defect next to the bezel.Light output: I was a little surprised that despite the move from a single Cree XHP70 to 3 Cree XP-L HD cool white emitters, that the max light output rating was unchanged, particularly since these emitters are super efficient (200 lumens per watt, based on the CREE specifications!!) However, when I tested the light in my basement "bounce chamber" the flashlight appears to put out well over the claimed 3200 lumens on turbo, perhaps closer to 4300 or 4500 lumens when on a fresh charge, though the power does taper fairly quickly. The other settings were within the right ranges, with the 300 lumen setting potentially being on the low side.Beam pattern: Fairly floody pattern, though when you have 3200+ lumens, you can pretty much see everything out to 40-50 meters and more.Battery: instead of the 26650 of the prior-gen Seeker, the Seeker 2 Pro uses the 21700 battery which is smaller but has 5000 mAh instead of 4500. The 21700 was developed by Panasonic and Tesla to be the most space efficient. In this case the light claims 9.5 hours at 300 lumens, quite a long time for that power level, while it also is able to put out 1200 lumens for 110 minutes, also impressive.Features: Standard set of Olight features with the magnetic rear charger, moonlight mode, lockout, low-med-high and double click for turbo. There’s also a L-bracket for mounting the light to a desk, closet, etc – specifically not a vehicle though –braking or hitting a pothole and the light is likely fallen. The new features which are nice are the tacky rubber grip, and the light / battery status LEDs. The holster is also fairly standard for Olight with a buckle rather than Velcro. At first you might wonder “do I really need an indicator light to tell me what light setting I’m on?” but after you’ve had it, you find it’s very useful. I often find myself cycling through the settings to see which setting I’m on, and of course this changes that. Overall, nice added features.

Stopped working after two weeks
Absolutely awesome flashlight. Extremely bright, easy to use, comfortable in your hand. Love everything about it except that it stopped working. I returned it to Amazon, no issues and promptly got a replacement- yea Amazon. Now after one week the replacement stopped working too. It's not the battery, I purchased spares and they don't fix the problem. Batteries are charged - the flashlight is just dead. Going to try one more time with a replacement, hoping 3rd time is a charm.

Fantastic flashlight kit!!
So I just got this in the mail the other day, been using it, and it's just a stellar flashlight! Small enough to be compact, dim and bright enough for anything you could need it for. Comes with a very heacy duty holster, push button release on the buckle so you can grab it fast and easy. The L-bracket that comes with it is very handy, comes with 3M tape to stick it to a surface, or you can mount it with screws that are included, even has dry wall sheathing on them, they really thought of everything! The light magnetically sticks to the bottom when the charging cap is attached, very solidly. The cap itself, which also attaches to the back of the flashlight directly, has a little LED on the cable, green to let you know there's power there, red to show you it's charging. The body of the flashlight has two ergonomic grippy silicone panels with finger grooves built in, it's not slipping out of your hand in any wet environment at all. It even comes with a little micro fiber cloth for cleaning the lens! In the pictures below, you can see the various stages of unboxing, then a few shots to detail the brightness levels. The light has 5 brightness levels, 5 lumens or "moonlight" which you get by holding the side switch for about a second. That's the first photo taken about 25 -30ft away in a pitch black room. The next is at 50, or "low" setting, the third is at 300, then 1200 and the last was bounced off the ceiling at 3200 lumens, and as you can see it REALLY lights the room up! I don't think the picture really does the brightness level justice, as it kept dimming it a bit. THere are also these really cool tiny led's to the left and right of the switch that light up when you first power the light on. Left side is brightness level, and on the right side is the battery power level, really handy and a great idea! The face of the flashlight is crenelated as well, in case you need to break glass. As far as looks, it gorgeous, and you can tell the fit and finish is top notch!! Even the threads on the tail cap are really nice and machined smooth. Excellent quality light, VERY impressed! Also came with a 21700 battery inside the flashlight, and a battery case !!
