Worked perfectly
Used this to change standard light bulbs on a high ceiling fan. Worked great! Didn't have to use a ladder. It may not be the most durable piece of equipment, however, it would be relatively inexpensive to replace if it did break.

For old style bulbs.
It's made for incandescent bulbs, but just for the regular house hold size, up to 70W. The spring loaded opening is too tight to slip over anything wider.I inserted a large prescription bottle cap to pre-widen it and it worked on a 18W CFL flawlessly.The flimsy set screw is a joke. I removed it and secured the device with tape to the broom handle threads instead. One star less for the cheap design of the handle receptacle.Product made in China.

A great idea
For anyone who is leery of using a ladder or for lightbulbs in a tricky position, this is an excellent tool. It took me less than a minute to replace a bulb in my stairwell. It just attaches to any broom stick.

Works!
I wasn’t sure if this product would really work, but it did! I didn’t have the proper handle to screw it on to, but I was able to attach it to my swifter handle and it worked well enough to change a lightbulb overhead.

The concept is pretty good, but...
The execution isn't quite there. The small spring came apart the first time I put a bulb into it. Once I soldered the spring together, and also slid every other yellow pads up I got it to work. If these 2 issues are taken of I could recommend it, but if you're not handy with a solder iron not so much.
