Filled with a lot of great information

Got mine today and just skimmed through it, stopping to read several sections. I think it's FANTASTIC.... armed with this book and a good graphing DVOM, I can figure out a heckuva lot of issues if and when they arise... the pinouts and test values alone are worth the price of the book.... while this isn't designed to be a "page turner"... actually reading and understanding what's in here will provide a TON of insight to how our cars actually work - what sensors the ECU is reading, and what it's doing with all that info... which forms the basis of good rational diagnosis, empowering you to answer questions like "I wonder what would make the car do THAT?!?!"

Great info on my R52, but I want more instructions, and part numbers would be helpful.

As an owner 3 Gen1 Mini Coopers, let me tell you that this book is a lifesaver. Its not a matter of if you will need it, its when and how often. I have used this book to troubleshoot failed TMS modules and breaks in the DCAN bus. It is an excellently prepared manual that is easy for the beginner to understand.

Sweet book. Don’t buy it if you are not familiar with working on cars. It’s not a Hanes book. It bases everything off of you already knowing what’s wrong and walking you through specific repairs.

Points you in the right direction and tells you how to yest

This a good addition to the Robert Bentley Service Manual but not a substitute for the actual service manual.

We purchased the book to help with the rebuild and modifications on a Mini. My husband found many of the answers he was looking for. The book helped solve some of the problems with making sure everything still works when you modify your Mini.

Absolute must for Mini service technician, but without the right test equipment and knowledge of vehicle electronics it would be very hard to understand.
