So far so good! It picks up on my jewelry so now I just need to find some in the Caribean sea! I have found a coin and plenty of can tabs and bottle caps!

The entire concept of the product is amazing but fails to meet expectations tremendously. I originally bought the article to allocate a lost ring in water. I took the product out of the box in pristine conditions. It was light and the haptic reaction from the product was amazing. Immediately though I noticed it’s flaw in which essentially any desired metal object literally had to be touching the product itself for it to produce a reaction so imagine if you were to be looking for metal objects even 2cm under sand? Well you guessed it almost damn well impossible. So I still was in desperation to allocate this ring and wanted to believe this product would be suffice for such an adventure. As I began my search the product began to produce a haptic reaction every 5 seconds and this production of false hope skewed any hope in finding my ring I had to turn on and off the machine in order to stop that reaction, because this was a completely different reaction then that of which would indicate nearby metal. The cessation of such interference would last 30 seconds and again the same problem would arise. Overall the concept of this machine is something one would fall in love with but when put to the test does not work as well as you would think unfortunately. The design is slick, portable, and appealing to ones eye. The haptic reaction is well. But the overall performance fails to meet expectations.

Would not charge, returned.

Plan to use it for mainly shallow water metal detecting

For those of you getting a constant beeping you need to recalibrate the scuba tector. It’s simple. Hold down the power button for two secs. I’ve used mine in and out of water and had no problems. If you’re having problems or not finding anything , it’s the operator. Don’t forget to adjust sensitivity to max. Bet you find something then. Love my scuba tector. Well worth the money. I highly recommend this scuba detector. It works well on land , salt water, creeks, rivers, etc. I’m getting about 6” depth on high sensitivity. Very very well made machine.

Not sure this item works.We have used it about ten times at the beach. Haven't found one item.

Worked great initially but the sealant is poor and water entered the battery chamber despite tightening it fully! What a waste of 170$!!
