I have always used lava soap for cleaning my dirty hands. The moisturizers in it truly do prevent it from drying out your hands, especially if you use it a lot. It works so well, I even use it to wash the solid-skinned fruits and vegetables such as apples, grapes, tomatoes and peppers. A solid warm water, then cold water rinse removes the soap and moisturizers. I love this stuff and will always keep it in my home.

Lava soap works like a charm for us to remove all the sticky, dirty leftover grim from hard work around the house, cars, and garden. This Lava 3 pack was delivered quickly and all bars were intact when they arrived. I will keep this vendor on my list of go-to's from now on.

Soap is great for removing auto grease and any other stubborn dirt on hands.

It says it contains pumice, but I can't feel the grit like I could with the Lava of the '70s through '80s. It does an OK job of cleaning dirt. I felt more scrubbing was needed with dirty grease than the Lava of old.
