Matched perfect in my 2002 k2500 HD LT EXT. Cab Silverado. It was easy to install had it done in less then 15 minutes.so nice to have lights in the control panel. Best part the side view mirror heaters started working again. No more freezing my fingers in the winter removing ice. Bought in January and in August the Ac quit working and the side rear view minor defrost quit working waiting on reply from vender to get recommendation on to reset or replace the unit. Was working great for 71/2 months original unit worked for 18 years. Vender saw my post and contacted me within a day and shipped me a new replacement unit in a few days, after installing the replacement unit I returned the old A/C unit. I like doing business with vender that read Customers Review I’d buy from him again.

I plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Fits my 2002 Tahoe and looks great.

This was a simple swap-out. Pull the dash trim, 2 screws, squeeze a few plastic tabs, unplug the back, and reverse the order. My old one had burned-out bulbs and this brought all of my lighting back. Also, I swapped out the rear defrost button to the blank one that is provided since my 2002 single cab Chevy does not have that feature. I was most worried about this step, but the button swap-out was easy also. Great replacement product!

Unit works great now that I returned a defective unit and received a replacement. The recycle light on a button did not work. The replacement was sent quickly and works good so far. Amazon, thanks for the quick turn around.

This control is pretty much plug and play. I damaged my old one attempting to solder in replacement bulbs that had burned out on the circuit board. Entirely my fault. I chose this product as a replacement for its low cost, compatibility, and the fact that the defrost button could be changed out with a blank. Really, if you want to go to the effort, you can sub in your old face plate with the new body but it's not a big deal to me if I have a button I know doesn't work. Maybe someday I will get replacement glass that has the defroster in it, The knobs were a bit gnarly, obviously used. I just replaced them with the ones from my unit. Not a big deal, really. If you can remove the trim bezel on your truck, pop out the existing unit, and swap in a new one, this is a five-minute fix for inoperative climate controls.

worked great for 3 months, then turned the dial up, felt resistance in the dial (at number 3) forced it to number 4 and blower stopped working.

It worked just fine. My originally installed one worked except the illumination on the top (knobs) of the control unit. I put up with it for a while but finally got annoyed. This was easy to install. Popped the dashboard bezel (helps to turn ignition to on and shift Automatic transmission selector into gear (Truck not running). Then there are two bolts and you pinch these little tabs above and below each bolt to get it to slide out. Two harness connectors to disconnect and the old one is out. The new one goes in the opposite order. Tested all the functions and the illumination. Everything works. OEM/NAPA and even Advance Auto all have replacements for around $200, including this one. Price was half.

Easy to install. Works as described.

2002 GMC 2500hd it took 5 minutes to install after search for video to take off the dashboard cover. The factory had the truck wired for defrost mirror. this change made it possibly to use the feature
