Wrap Extremely Difficult to Remove
This stake out stick looks very well made and very functional. The stretch wrap that it is enclosed in is almost impossible to remove without damaging the pole. It took me 20 minutes to get the wrap off! This thing is made to stick down in mud where there are shells and rocks so why give it more protection during shipping than 80% of the stuff I buy from Amazon. It came in a card board box, was wrapped in craft paper and then the stretch wrap. Am looking forward to using it and hope I never have to buy another one.

perfect for staying put in a kayak
This pole works perfect in my kayak for intercoastal fishing in Florida, especially when I started putting it threw the weep holes in the kayak.

Gets it done in the shallow spots
Took a guided tour and they had these on their yaks. I was impressed with the ease of use. I even pulled it out of the mud accidently by yanking on the anchor trolly. Floated right back over to me. Turned it over, push poled my way back into position and staked back out. Excellent

Terrible quality!!
I’ve made a lot of purchases regarding fishing, etc... this product is hands down the worst. After two weeks the point on the pole came off, then started splitting. Spend the extra money and go with another brand and save yourself the disappointment.
