Having contended with a bout of IBS, in which VSL3 and a low FODMAP diet were no longer working, I decided to try Xiao Chai Hu Wan, having heard about it from a person who sees a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. I wasn’t expecting it to have much impact, but I was at my wit’s end. I was very pleasantly surprised that by the fourth day, taking 8 tablets three times daily and continuing low FODMAP and VSL3, my symptoms all abated.
