Glass Spice Jars- Set of Six Glass Spice Bottles

These are the perfect size. I have some spices that come in baggies. Not user friendly. I love the screw top lids with the shakers underneath. I make my own labels. Highly recommended.

These make very nice salt and pepper shakers. The holes in the plastic cap are just the right size to get enough, but not too much, on your food. I'd like them a little more if they were bigger, but overall they work very well.

The bottles are decent quality. I like that they have solid screw tops and come with shaker inserts. The 10 bottles that made it in tact are serving me well holding some small quantities of molecular gastronomy chemicals. I plan to get more for my "spillover" spices in the cabinet, as the ones that match my spice rack set are much more expensive and the tops leave much to be desired.About the "bottles that made it" part... I ordered 2 boxes of 6, and each box had one jar that was completely shattered. I mean pulverized glass was all over the inside of the larger box my order came in. They need to be packaged better. I have put in a request to return the broken ones and get a refund but I am not sure how to return glass shards or whether it's even legal to knowingly ship something like that... I think I will just send them a picture because i would hate for someone to open the box and get cut (I didn't because I heard the tinkling sounds and put on gardening gloves). I know that kind of thing happens, I will just hope for a refund for the 2 broken ones and try again.

These little jars are perfect for storing seasonings.

I got these to store (and gift) homemade salts and rubs. The jars are perfect cylinders, so it's easy to laser the, or apply decals. The shaker top snaps on securely, but is also easy to remove and clean. The neck of the jar is very wide, so the jar is easy to fill or clean as needed.Overall these are a great value, I've bought 3 sets so far.

I bought a couple sets of these spice jars to use for storing my odds and ends of spices that didn't already come packaged in a shaker bottle. Some spices that I've bought either on Amazon or from a local spice shop are nice and fresh; but they're sold in a small heavy-weight ziplock bag. The bag keeps the spices fresh -- but using the spices directly from the zip-lock bag isn't very convenient.The bottles themselves are very nice. They're an ideal size (slightly under 4 inches tall). The mouth opening is large enough to accommodate my largest measuring spoon (the Tablespoon). The shaker cap insert has large enough holes for most spices; but are not quite large enough for some things such as dried hot pepper flakes. However, unlike some well-known spice brand bottles, the snap-on shaker cap pops off very easily -- no need to pry with a knife or break a fingernail.I was so pleased initially with the bottles that I was planning to buy many more; but I've become less impressed with them because of their lids. One lid was already broken in one of the sets when it first arrived, which should have been my first clue about the quality of the plastic lids. Unfortunately, the lids don't seem to be of the same durable quality that the glass bottles are. A second lid that got dropped accidentally on our slate floor developed a small crack.I'm still using them for things like black truffle sea salt, various other smoked salts, and a few other specialty herb blends. Until I find a source for better lids, though; I'm not planning to buy any more of these spice jars.

For spices; perfect, accept labels well on its clean flat cap. Clear and easy to see spices.
