These cushions are packed in individual plastic bags, shrink wrapped and then shrink wrapped again and the corners are mechanically folded and stuck down with see through plastic tape. Thus it's something of a mystery as to how to open the parcel. I didn't dare use a knife because I'd have damaged them, so I persevered for 10 minutes or so and eventually got the tape off and managed to get them opened up, and they puffed up nicely. There's a daft instruction sheet to tell you that they'll puff up if you wait, but it's pretty obvious.The cushions are nicely made with a zipper sealing the stuffing. The cover is good quality and not thin and nasty. They aren't overstuffed, which is what I wanted, as they'll look good. So apart from the hassle to unwrap them from the plastic, which did keep them clean and fresh, I'm very pleased.

I purchased these as throw pillows for my sofas. I ordered the 20 x 20 to fit into 18 x 18 pillow shams, since everywhere said the pillows should be larger than the shams. They were a tight fit, but now that they're in the covers they look great and hold their shape. I love that they are washable and have cotton covers, unlike the cheap non-washable material most throw pillows seem to be made of.

These are excellent. Well made, quality. Super full. I probably could have gone a size down for my lumbar pillow covers but I’m very happy with them. Definitely will buy again when I need cover fillers.

The 16" x 16" pillow inserts that I bought are effectively 15" x 15".Yes, if you pull the outer fabric covering taut from side to side and then measure it, the cloth is 16" wide and 16" long.But with the expansion/plumping of the insert, that width basically contracts as the fabric instead rises upward to cover the thickness of the insert (rather than—also—the promised length and width).So customers should indeed consider buying the next size larger insert, as the vendor suggests (but taking into consideration whether a REALLY plump pillow is desired).And the vendor should consider selling a product that matches its promises!

Perfect for couch pillows. They are firm and good size. I ordered the 20 inch for my 18 inch pillow cover. Highly recommend!

I originally ordered a different set of pillow inserts. I was disappointed with how flat those ones were. Then I found and ordered these pillow inserts. I'm very happy with how puffy they are and that they actually fill out the pillow covers I got.

These are quality pillow inserts with good shape. They fluff up quickly, and turn into moderately firm, thick pillows. Could be a little firmer, but very suitable for a throw pillow! I use the 20x20 IKEA pillow covers on the inserts
