Computer Accounting with Peachtree Complete by Sage Complete Accounting 2012 CD

The text is very easy to follow and does not complicate things or confuse the reader. This is one of those rare text books that takes the dread out of learning. Like the book, the software is well written and quite detailed. Learning how to use and navigate the software comes about as easy as can be expected with the step by step instructions from the book. I am completely satisfied with the book and software, and it is rare for me to say that about either.

I purchased this book for a class and worked through the entire book with the exception of a few projects in the back. For the most part, this is a complete teaching of the class. The book is easy to follow and the software was easy enough to install. However, the convert to PDF function never worked for my system (Windows 7 on a new computer), but I really didn't need it or could covert from Excel. I feel that there were a few things that the book didn't cover but I feel like I good lesson on the software. Perhaps a more advanced teaching of the software is available (I haven't looked). For someone looking to learn Peachtree for the first time though, I would recommend. A aced the class, no problem

Before installing the software, be sure to read all instructions. One thing I have found so far that I do not like about it is Chapter 8 where it only shows you how to view the report that you have to create in the exercise without showing you how to create it. However, by the time you get to there, you can pretty much figure it out.

Very complete instructions and follow up questions that are relatively easy to follow. The included software allows you to practice on a company already set up and also to go through and set up an acconting system for a new company so that you can complete all phases of accounting using the Peachtree system. This should be useful in running a small to midsize business or in setting up an accounting program for someone else's business. The software must be registered and will only be usuable for 14 months from the date of registration.

I have used this every day since I bought it for school. I really enjoyed how easy it is to use along with the helpful hits that comes along with the software. The software was installed and ready to use.

I bought this expecting to have use of it...turns out i did not need it but if you do want to learn the full functions of peach-tree then this book is definitely worth it. It is lengthy but the one thing I hate is the cd-rom it comes with is totally useless i expected it to have usage for at least...forever...but no it gives you the student edition which lasts about 5 months like whats up with that all in all unless you want to learn that thick book in 5 months do not waste time.

The book was easy to follow and understand through most lessons. This was a great beginning course for Peachtree. I would like to know what the program can do that was not covered in the book.
