Review: Great size and gets the job done! - This little stool is great! It is smaller than an iPad (just to give you an idea) but gets the job done and is very very easy to transport. (Somewhere between the size of an iPad and a Kindle so it fits in a medium size purse easily.) My daughter is 5'1" and in high school. She was complaining about back pain and being uncomfortable in the school desk chairs because her feet can't really reach the floor properly. We got this stool for her. She takes it everywhere and unfolds it for every class. Since she started using it about three weeks ago, she has had no back pain. She has small feet (women's size 5) and has no problem comfortably resting both feet on it. I think a person with large feet might find it a little small, but we love it.

**Q: What are the dimensions?**
A: Approximately 8.5" long by 4" wide by about  4.25" high. Folds very flat and is stabilized by two heavy wire flanges when open. Great for preventing fatigue when flying or sitting in a long meeting.

**Q: Can I take it to the market and stand on it to reach high shelves? How much weight will it hold?**
A: I would NOT recommend this. This is not designed to hold a person's weight, but rather to rest your feet on.

**Q: Is it plastic? Light weight?**
A: Yes it is fairly light weight but too small.  I only have a 6 1/2 foot and I could barely balance on it

**Q: Anyone know the weight of this footstool?**
A: Not sure of the actual weight but it is very light

This foot rest is exactly as stated, light, small & compact. It is exactly what I wanted. I use it to rest my feet when sitting and my legs don't quite touch the floor. It relieves the pressure on the back of my legs and makes sitting more comfortable for longer periods. The small and compact size make it very easy to take with you. I carry it in the pouch on my walker but it could fit very easily in a good size purse. It is not meant for use as a weight-bearing stool because it is not a stable surface.
