A Fantasy Tree House Coloring Book

What a perfect treehouse coloring book! The imagination, or is it, these illustrators have. I am a avid watcher of "Treehouse Masters" staring Pete Nelson and crew. I wish he could see this book.The children in these pages are every child whose imagination soars on the limbs of almost every tree in sight. My Grandson, Ryan, is fortunate enough that his Dad, Corey, had the know-how to build a magical treehouse in their backyard. Hundreds of hours have been spent in there!There are 93 pages to color-no duplicates. The paper is of good quality and takes to colored pencils very well. I use Prismacolor pencils as I get a very wide range. The pages are not perforated, but provide a nice margin around each plate.This is a super book, and I would recommend it

I don't like this at all. There is way too much black on the pictures. A total waste of money!

I would have given it 5 stars but for the fact that if I was the mother of daughters, I would have been a little disappointed to see that no mommies were pictured as being part of the treehouse build and there were far more pictures of little boys than girls. I am a woman, 66 years old and want to see more images of girls and women doing adventerous, fun stuff.Given that, there are really cool treehouse pictured including a couple of pages to draw yor own, a dot to dot page as well.I haven't colored any of the pages yet but the paper feels like colored pencils will be best. I think my sharpies might bleed through but thst isn't an issue for me as I always remove the page from the book and secure the paper to a clipboard anyway. I use a bit of removable painters tape on corners to prevent shifting and let my imagination take over.

Really nice book.Lots of pictures,great value. Kids love it.

What a fantastic book. I never thought I'd be tempted to actually color in an adult coloring book—but then I was given David and Jeanie Stiles' new publication: A Fantasy Tree House Coloring Book. Anyone familiar with the couple's do-it-yourself tree house books, as I am, will recognize David Stiles' fine drawings and sketches. In this book they just pull you back into your childhood—or one that you wish you'd had, after looking at these fantasy gems.One reason I want to start coloring now is to discover all the details included in what looks like a simple design: little signs, and swings, and buckets, stairs, ladders, doorways, windows, decks, bells, lanterns, a hatch in the roof, pulleys used as dumb waiters,—and not to forget the children and adults happily enjoying themselves. The more you look the more you see. Gives you ideas for your own tree house.What I particularly like is that in the very beginning of the book there is a page which provides tips on which colors to use and how to mix them, as well as which brushes are best. I am not an artist so this is very valuable for a novice. I think I might like to use pencil, crayon, or something similar that is not messy, since I will probably take this with me for downtime when I travel. I'll have to do a little research.The book--in case you are in such need--would make a great gift for a young person as well as for an adult.

This is a great book of tree houses. This book has pictures for young and older colorist. The paper is good and easy to tear out.

ペーパーバッグに期待はしていませんでしたが・・・紙質の悪さもきっとそうだろうと思っていましたが・・・同じような構図ばっかりで、期待外れでした表紙と同じタイプの物ばかりが続きますイラストも荒いので、塗り絵便乗品？とも思いましたツリーハウスがテーマならもっと工夫できただろうにと残念ですあくまで主観です
