Build a good forest
While the trees may not have the detail nor ease of use of some pre-made trees, this set will build a good set of trees for your layout. You will need adhesive like Hoby-e-Tac to secure the foliage to the branches. Be sure to select the right size range for your particular layout. I wish the greens had more color variation but the end product still works well. I airbrush on some grey to the tree trunks as the were a bit too solid brown for my tastes, but still a good product and would reorder.

Smaller than expected
I bought these tree kits for D&D purposes since it came with everythingbut the glue for the flocking, but when I received them they were super tiny. The trees range from 3/4in- 3in tall. I included a picture of the shortest and the tallest trees. These are a little too short for my liking, but the smaller ones will make nice little shrubbery and bushes, and the taller ones will make some nice short trees.I really like how the branches can be molded to desired shape, and how they come with their own bases though, so I've went ahead and ordered the 5-7in trees from this company, which I feel will work better for me 😁

Really Great for Fantasy Dioramas
These trees have been a staple of the railroad model community for a long time. They also work great for fantasy dioramas. Just be sure you get the scale right. These are small trees no larger than three inches in height. So depending on the scale of your diorama they may be more suitable as bushes. You need glue to assemble these trees so get yourself some Hob-E-Tac Adhesive. Brush it on, let it cure then dip the tree armatures in the foliage and youre done. The tree armatures are plastic and easily bendable into 3d tree shapes. Nice product, looks great when done.

Full size trees are just too much hassle.
If I had it my way trees would give off free WiFi rather than oxygen. These trees provide neither. They do however make my miniature buildings not look like fake pieces of crap on top a table. People see the landscape I created with these and they praise me and say "You should quit your job and move to Hollywood where people will just throw money at you." So thank you fake Deciduous Tree Kit, Small. Thank You!!!

Just okay, not great
The tree armitures are decent, but they are stamped flat. They require bending, which is fine and expected, but the flat nature in how they are stamped results in limitations on how much you can really bend the main trunks, and thus you are limited in how "full" you can really make them appear. But what's really not good about this kit is the supplied clump foliage... clump foliage is hard to work with and is not ideal for making tree leaves. You need to rip apart the chunks to get smaller pieces and even then you're left with smaller chunks which doesn't work well or look good on trees. The better material to use as tree foliage is coarse turf, because it is just coarse enough to look rough, but still loose enough to get in between the arms and trunks neatly. I have supplied a picture where it shows 2 trees made with clump foliage on the left, and one tree made with coarse turf on the right. Woodland Scenics should really update this kit to supply coarse turf instead of clump foliage.

Great for the price
You need to assemble these yourself, but are well worth the money. Thank you for having such a great product available at an affordable price!!

The trunks were not particularly sturdy, and did not provide the scale we needed
Well I bought this for a school diorama project. The moss was difficult to work with and did not adhere well to the "tree trunks". The trunks were not particularly sturdy, and did not provide the scale we needed. In fact the trees looked more like bushes.
