FunkoPOP Literature: HP Lovecraft Cthulhu Action Figure

I purchased this Funko Pop Cthulhu as a Christmas gift for my father-in-law who is a big HP Lovecraft and Cthulhu fan. I'm a Funko Pop collector myself so I was a little worried about the quality of this Cthulhu Pop since I've gotten some Pops in the past that had minor flaws or when they arrived just didn't meet my expectations. I can honestly say I was worried for no reason.This Pop is awesome. The attention to detail is superb and the paint job is perfect. I was also really surprised as to how big it is. When the smiling amazon box arrived at my home I was certain they sent me the wrong item before I opened it. The Funko Pop box is about a quarter larger than any of my Pops boxes and the figure is heavier than most. If you decided to display it without the box I wouldn't see this falling over easily since between the weight and the quality it seems like a sturdy piece.I was so impressed with this pop I was disappointed I didn't order one for myself!But the best part of this Cthulhu pop was my father-in-law's reaction. He was blown away and practically giddy when he opened it. He was like a big kid on Christmas day. I don't think I could have gotten him a better gift. So this definitely makes the perfect gift for the Cthulhu fan in your life.Overall it's excellent quality and an awesome pop! It's a fun addition to any Cthulhu fan's collection.

I'm a casual collector of Funko's Pop! Vinyl line, mostly because I get tired of their poor paint jobs (it's like playing Russian roulette with the quality and the moment I notice a mistake--which is usually a big one--it ruins the piece for me and I have to repaint it).All of that said, I still like Pops!, but I love this one. Allow me to repeat, I LOVE this one. I'm not the biggest Lovecraft fan, but the sculpt was absolutely perfect and believe it or not, the paint job was stellar. The colors were a bit dull for my taste, but at this point, I'm probably splitting hairs.The best part is that I've seen the pieces for other collectors, and Cthulu's paint job seems to be consistent which makes me even happier.If you collect Pops!, Lovecraftian anything, or just vinyl toys, add the Dark Lord to your collection.Cheers!

What is not to like about the great Cthulhu? I am so glad that they made this model. I tell my wife that she can't go wrong with a Cthulhu gift.The model is a little small and I wish it would have been bigger like the Godzilla POP. The coloring is good and the detail is great.This POP makes a great addition to my collection and is a must for any Cthulhu fan.

Great figurine. This is not a bobble head in case you were searching for that. I searched bobble heads and this came up via Amazon search. It does not diminish my enjoyment of it but wanted to state that. The item description does NOT indicate that it is a bobble head but again, Amazon search does bring it up.Nice paint and all finish. looks great on my desk at work.

He's a big chunky Pop, that's for sure. He doesn't tower over the other Pops!, so don't be afraid to buy him if you think he'll look out of line with your other figures. He's just the tallest I've seen of the regular sized Pops! He's Cthulhu after all, he should be!

So cute! If you've read the call of Cthulhu, you should consider purchasing this, to show others you're in the know! It's the perfect addition to my diverse collection of Funko Pop toys, and I'm happy to have it!

Excellent detail and design; tentacles, cephalopod suckers on the head and spine, wings, claws, this thing's got it all. Larger than your normal Funko POP! too, ensuring that good ol' Cthulhu lords above all lowly mortal POP!s. It's got a nice weight to it as well, meaning it won't fall over as easily as some of Funko's other figures. Terrific for fans of Lovecraft.

Si eres fan de los Funko, esta es una de las mejores figuras que he visto. Muy detallada, reconocible y que nunca pasa desapercibida.Si eres fan de la obra de Lovecraft, tienes que comprarlo ya!. Una figura genial ideal para escritorio y demostrar tu amor por Cthulhu.Si no eres ninguno de ambos... espero que sea para un regalo de alguien que cumpla alguno de los dos requisitos.

FunkoPop molto ben fatto e un po' più grande (circa 12 centimetri) degli altri già in mio possesso. Imprescindibile per ogni Cultista che si rispetti e a un costo molto conveniente (15 euro), può essere un regalo che sarà gradito da ogni appassionato di Lovecraft. Spedizione puntuale e confezione perfetta.
