I just received my Sower and Seed french press yesterday and have used it for the first time this morning. I'm actually sipping a nice warm cup of coffee from it as I type this review. The product comes beautifully packaged and the colour is stunning. My only very small gripe is, my coffee tastes different. I have alternated between the same glass french press and pour over for years now with the exact same coffee, but with this press the coffee somehow tastes different? It's an odd flavour- not necessarily bad, just not the same. I don't know if it's some kind of interaction with the metal that doesn't occur with glass, but there's definitely something there.

So I’ve had this for a bit now. The only issue I have with this item is where this is dishwasher safe it’s paint coating isn’t. Every time it’s put into the dishwasher it’s color coated outside gets removed more and more. Otherwise it works wonderfully and I really like how the strainer pusher is assembled. Very easy to use and clean

I like it so far. I've had it for about a month and I havent noticed any aforementioned paint chipping.Doesnt keep it as hot as claimed.I bought it for aesthetic appeal, but you know what they say: Function over fashion. A cheaper one would work just as well!

I mean it's true to color, it's nice looking in a retro kind of way and I just finished making my first cup of Joe and ya know? Not bad. The handle came scratched though, and so did the lower part of the ceramic. It's probably because of the poor packaging.

I love this French press. It's pretty and keeps the coffee hot the entire brewing period. The only thing I dislike is that it is metal on metal, so when you're pulling the plunger back up it makes a terrible scraping noise (think nails on a chalk board).

I got this coffee press to use at work and home in lieu of using K-cups. It is completely made of metal, no use of plastic. You can easily determine how many cups of coffee you desire with the markings inside, they are in Liters and Oz but I found equate well to how many cups of coffee I would like. It keeps it nice and warm as opposed to glass coffee presses.

Really like this French press, it’s very cute first of all so it looks cute out on my counter top. Most importantly unlike my last glass French press this keep my coffee piping hot for a while not a long while but enough to enjoy at least 2 hot cups in a row. Very easy to rinse clean. I think with all French press and almost all coffee I still get the mud like sludge at the end of the cup.

Have been making coffee in this every morning for a few months. It’s so cute and good quality. French press coffee is the best and this French press is perfect! We use it for three people and there is just enough for someone to have a forth cup if needed. Highly recommend!

After breaking three replacement glass containers to fit a blackening plastic holder, I have found this cafetiere a great improvement. It pours well and you don't have to fight the plunger. It's easy to clean and LOOKS clean. Those complaining that it doesn't keep coffee warm for long enough must like their coffee stewed to death - it is, again, far better at heat retention than glass. I think the pastel colours are delightful - but, for some reason, other people love to live life in monochrome. It would have five stars, but I can't comment on how robust it is because I like it so much, I've been careful with it. One of the better things to come out of China.

Great quality and looks fantastic; why keep buying glass cafetieres which inevitably break when for a few pounds more you can buy a great looking product which will last a life-time?Just a shame I was not able to choose the colour, however, happily my preferred colour (blue) was delivered in this case

Was not sealable at the top so coffee cooled quicker than I would have liked.

I adore this, it’s a good size, beautiful colour and keeps my coffee warm. Easy to clean as it’s stainless steel.

I’ve had it for a while and it works well, however, the stem is really thin so the only way to remove and replace the filter is by holding the handle. The handle also unscrews so it can make it really difficult to remove the filter as the handle can unscrew before the filter. I had to glue the handle on to fix this but that now means I can’t clean the lid. It is good, it’s just a shame about the handle coming off so easily compared to the filter.
