This stop valve has a 5/8-inch outer diameter compression inlet x dual-outlet connection: 3/8-inch outer diameter compression outlet x 3/8 outer diameter compression outlet. It is a professional series valve with a solid brass body and solid brass nuts, chrome-plated finish. This quarter-turn stop valve controls water flow at the plumbing fixture, eliminating the need to turn off the water supply to the entire home for maintenance. It features a removable handle with an oval design for easy-grip. UPC and NSF approved, complies with Lead-Free law. From the Manufacturer Eastman's 5/8" Comp (1/2" Nom) x 1/2" or 7/16" SJ Dual Outlet Stop Valve controls water flow to household plumbing fixtures. With 1/4 turn, you are able to stop the flow of water leading to the plumbing fixture, allowing for maintenance and repair without turning off water to the entire home. The valve resists corrosion and provides a watertight seal.

45 degree turn to open - 90 degree to close again ???

I got one of each for the kitchen sink: 3/8 x 1/4 on cold and 3/8 x 3/8 on hot. Connected the faucet - and no cold water. Disconnected the faucet, connected spare hoses to check the supply - all fine. Changed the cartridge in the faucet, then the whole faucet - and still no cold water. Installed the faucet in the bathroom - all fine. This was a very bad day. Eventually I left the faucet cold water on and then turned the valve under the sink and there it was: 45 degree turn to open and full 90 degree to close again! When I checked the supply earlier I only turned the valves partially, but with the faucet fully. The devil was that the 3/8 x 3/8 on hot is regular 90 degrees (1/4 turn) to open.

Got an open box mess missing parts, thread damaged

Box was smashed and been open before because it was inside a baggie. Valve is missing the small water compression fitting and nut and the exposed thread without the nut on it is damaged.
