Delicious, only 100 calories each "bar" (they're soft), and gluten-free. The person to whom we gifted them (who can only eat gluten-free foods) loved them.

I LOVE halva. My family used to get halva at a local Jewish deli. But we moved and I grew up and the Halva became a memory. LOL. As a grown up I decided to see if Amazon carries Halva and YES. I had many brands to chose from. Of all the Halva that Amazon carries I like the Pistachio Mighty Sesame Tahini Bars the most. They are light, flaky, slightly crunchy, and not to sweet. If you prefer dense Halva you might not like this. It is difficult to measure the sweetness of the product, because what you call sweet, might not be what I call sweet. For the record I think that milk chocolate is too sweet, candy bars such as Milky Ways are too sweet. I prefer dark chocolate but really don’t like chocolate that much. I like flan, cheesecake, lemon meringue pie, pralines, any dessert that is nut or fruit based. So maybe that gives you an idea of how sweet this Halva is to me. The only flaw I have with this product is it is very expensive for what you get. The bars are small and you only get six to a box. Some people will know what I mean: this Halva is the kind you just cannot stop eating.

These were very tasty, especially the pistachio, but they were very small. But it was nice to find a sampler pack so I could figure out which flavor I like best for future orders. Also, for those who are steering clear of products with Zionist ties, this brand (iirc) is Turkish.

I love halvah but have a hard time finding good stuff. This is pretty close to what I seek! A little more flakey than crumbly, and has tiny chewy, almost waxy (in a good way) bits that are so satisfying while you chew. It's not too oily or too sweet, which is INCREDIBLY hard to find. I'll repeat that because it's so astonishing: THIS IS NOT TOO OILY OR TOO SWEET! That puts it above 95% of halvahs, right? Wow! What a find! To me these little portions are exactly the right size. When I have a big block I tend to eat too much. These are good for willpower. But they don't leave me unsatisfied- not once have I been tempted to get a second one out. I've even let my husband try a bite and been satisfied with the remaining amount. I think those disappointed in the size are mostly just upset because they didn't know it was going to be that size, not because it's objectively a bad size. Note that the chocolate one has chunks of actual cacao bean, which may be a nasty shock if you didn't read too carefully and expected cocoa powder swirls or bits of creamy processed chocolate. It is tasty, if like me you hate excessive sweetness, but has too hard a texture to go well with halvah, IMO. I was too busy crunching up the nibs to really enjoy the texture of the halvah. The pistachio one is ok- the nuts being only a bit harder than the paste. But I think the plain vanilla is the best because when the halvah has such a charming texture and flavor why distract from that? I will be buying this again, in the all-vanilla box.

Too spendy for what you get. Is a tasty treat.

these are perfect with a hot cup of tea. they are not too sweet so it doesn't overpower the taste of the tea

Okay, almost gave this a 4. The negatives are the price, and the way the bars crumble at a touch. Not one to put in a handbag for a snack, as it will have turned to powder! The 5 is for the flavour! It's delicious! Sweet, creamy, and 100% yum!

I would eat a whole box of these in a single sitting if I didn't have the slight touch of self control that I do have. Extremely good!

I'm into healthy eating and was hoping for this tahini bar to be something good to me. But it's SO sweet! It's sickly sweet. We really don't need so much carbs. And yes, it's tiny. But because of that over the top sweetness, I don't think I could eat anything bigger than this anyway.
