Easy peasy blackberry jam with Suregel. I’ve been using this product for over 40 years without fail.

Perfect Sweetness
I don't miss the flavor with the less sugar sure gell and neither does my family. I needed less sugar and some of the other family wanted me to decrease the amount of sugar in my jams and jellies. However, you can't just reduce the ratio of fruit and pectin in the regular sure jell so this was perfect. I didn't know a less sugar existed but am so satisfied and the children and other family and friends also. I can't tell there is less sugar to most of my recipes and neither can others. This one is perfect unless you're dealing with really sour fruit.

Too expensive but good quality.
All the local stores were out of everything canning related. My only option was to order online. Because I was desperate, I paid the higher price for this pack. It was definitely priced way to much, but the product was good. I received them the next day so shipping was fast.Next time I'll have to think ahead and buy extras at the store.

Works as Described
Used the low sugar variety to make a hot pepper jelly and it worked perfectly. Price is comparable to that in stores, when you can find it. Nice to know it's available online when my local store is sold out.

Made me some plum jam and it has perfect consistency
Followed the directions on the package and viola, 6 pints of plum jam that jelled perfectly overnight. Don't expect it to when it is piping hot; it takes time. Go sip some Carbernet and watch fake news while you wait.

It is a wonderful product!
My Wife has used for years! The great thing she said about it is your pectin takes 4 c. sugar instead of 7 c. to 6 cups of crushed fruit for a batch of Jam (8-8oz jars). Using less sugar makes the jam taste like "summer in a jar". She enjoys mixing several fruits together and the taste is always GREAT! She panicked when she could not get any in our stores here hence, Amazon. However, the price was almost double per package. Needless to say we will savor every bite and consider ourselves lucky that you had it! Thanks.
