The Surface Laptop 3 is a great product so I wanted something to protect it that was more than just a sleeve. This folio-type protector is absolutely terrific. It snuggly fits all sides of the laptop (metal keyboard version) and it has a very nice look to it. Admittedly, it adds a hefty bit of weight to the otherwise very light laptop, but the extra weight is well worth it when you consider how protective it is of a fairly pricey laptop. I have not had the issues with the laptop not completely closing as others have noted, so either I got the best of what is produced, or perhaps the issues reported with not closing were related to how the folio was installed? Bottom line: I am thoroughly and completely happy with this purchase!

Similar to what many said....I looked all over for a surface laptop cover. Bought a competitor's, but returned it. This cover is high-quality, looks nice and fits perfectly. I bought my laptop only 3 months ago and have dropped twice (damaged the corner), plus it's so easy to scratch. To me, a cover is required (for what I spent on laptop)! The case cover protects the corners. Plus, the felt material on surface is nice but can wear easily. This helps with that. It does add weight as mentioned. But, the reason it's heavy is because it's made so well and will actually protect all areas of the laptop. Is worth it.

I really like the case..the only thing that I would want different is where the flap..should be on the front..but maybe I’m doing something wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️

Too big. Very ugly flap on the bottom for your inconvenience. Huge gap and case slides off the laptop. No way to put the laptop on your lap with this case

I looked all over for a protective case for my new Surface Laptop 3 and found none. I messaged this vendor and, they confirmed it would fit the Laptop 3. They answered my question within just a few hours. Purchased the case and couldn't be happier. Instead of carrying a thin and slippery laptop around the office, I carry what looks like an expensive pad folio. Installed on the laptop in 2 minutes. Holds my Surface stylus too. Sturdy and stylish case for your Surface Laptop and highly recommend!!

Case is a little short in the depth. The case a two part system, one parts slides over the screen, the second part slides over keyboard. They're design to connect in the middle with magnetic covers. The over lap is not quite long enough to fit flush. When the screen is open, the two parts will connect. Also part of the case was bowed out from laptop. Had to reshape it and add some double sided tap to get it to lay flat.

This case has held up very well for a year. I am an Assistant Principal and I drag my computer everywhere. This case is durable and looks very professional. A tiny bit of the color has rubbed off of the corners over the course of the year, but it is so mild that there is no need for a replacement. I could easily see myself getting a couple of more years of use out of this case. I bought the dark brown and my boss got the dark blue. We have both been extremely pleased. I do not have any issues with this case sliding around. I can also charge it without issue.
