Both the bar and chain do not come with this **Q: I see plenty a farmer tech chainsaw heads only where do I buy the chain and bar?** A: They are clones of name brand saws (Stihl, etc...) You look for a bar and chain that fits the equivalent name brand saw. **Q: Does the saw come ready to go once the bar and chain are on? (No tuning)** A: Mine did! I put on the bar and chain and started cutting. After it broke in I had to adjust the idol but it still runs great! **Q: Can this chainsaw be used with the 28inch Bar 3/8 .063 92 listed here on Amazon?** A: hello customer, it can be used, but we do not suggest you to use 28 inch bar in the G388, usually we suggest you to use 18/20/24 inch bar. 28 inch bar are usually used in G660. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WORTH IT *by C***T on January 9, 2020* This saw is a beast for the price I was not expecting it to be this good. It has ran great since I took it out of the box. I have more the 10 full tanks ran thru it some in decent temperatures others in the negatives starts on 3-4 pulls every time ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Runs good right out of the box *by W*** on June 29, 2023* Wish it came with 2 sets of dogs. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Does not work with stihl parts *by C***F on October 17, 2023* Really tested this product this past month. Bought it for my husband for Christmas last year. The chainsaw worked great with minor issues for the first 4x going to cut wood. Then it started having issues. First the bar nuts are very cheap material and strip easy. Next the gas and oil caps break easy. The rubber on the caps are not good and you will have to replace them soon. Lastly, anything we have bought parts that are stihl do not work with this brand. So far that has been a lie. ## Frequently Bought Together - Farmertec Holzfforma 72cc Blue Thunder G388 Gasoline Chain Saw Power Head Only Without Guide Bar and Saw Chain All Parts Are Compatible With 038 038 AV 038 MS380 MS381 MAGNUM Chainsaw - Holzfforma 92cc Farmertec Blue Thunder G660 Chain Saw Power Head ONLY.
