A Great Convenience I Didn't Know I Missed!
There was a major issue with the delivery of this item. The box had been severely abused and what appeared to be parts were literally falling out of it! I'd never seen a package delivered in such poor condition in my life.I called Amazon Customer Service seeking input on what I need to do at this point. I didn't want to open the box -- not that it would require much work -- for fear of invoking some sort of weird contractual commitment on as yet to be seen item.Long story short: I was assured that nothing bad would happen and I'd get to retain ownership of my first born. Ummmm... even if I didn't have one.Anyway, long story short: This item was all intact, and not too much the worse for wear. I'm a function over form kind of guy so a few scuffs and a ding here and there are no biggies to me.The cart was incredibly easy to assemble and after it was put together, I was amazed at how solid and substantial it was.The large bamboo board may be a bit awkward to clean in a home sink simply because of it's size, but for light, non-messy work it's fine. It wipes up easily. [NOTE: Be certain to condition this board with some type of food grade oil. I've always used mineral oil on my boards with great success.] I have a couple of other boards I use when I need to chop messy veggies or butcher meat. I simply place the smaller board on top of the bamboo surface and voila! The space feels incredibly expansive ... especially if one is accustomed to less that one square foot of surface area in which to all of one's prep work. Yikes! The shelves on this baby are awesome and provide a surprisingly enormous amount of storage. I've placed one of my food processors, two mini-rice cookers, a bin for veggies, another bin reserved exclusively for my allium veg (onions, garlic, shallots, etc.), a 6 qt. Dutch oven and a couple of other small items ... all on two shelves, one surrounded by with a raised edge about two inches high. The hooks located at one end of the cart serve me well by holding my frequently used utensils: a 1.5 qt. saucepan, a set of strainers, a couple of large spoons and ladles and a set of mixing bowls. The handle on the other end is of substantial size making it easy to grip in order to move the cart around on its four large wheels, two of which may be locked. The handle also serves as a pretty convenient place to hang your towels/potholders.The point here is that this cart, for its size, is amazing! It's solid, easily portable, again with its large wheels, utility hooks, shelving, large surface area that doubles as a cutting board and prep area and large, convenient handle. This little puppy provides a convenience that I didn't know I was missing. And .... IT LOOKS GREAT!The delivery issues aside, this has been one of the best investments I've made. The damage it suffered in transit only gives my l'il workhorse character, by gosh! (I just said, "gosh". Ignore that.)Kudos to the designer and to the manufacturer for creating and then producing this cart. And kudos to Amazon Customer Service for allaying any fears I had after the catastrophic condition in which this super cool product was delivered. (IMHO, Amazon has one of, if not THE best, customer service departments in the country.)Clearly, you can trust Trinity International Industries and their EcoStorage Bamboo Kitchen Cart.Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if this cart lasts decades ... seriously. Especially when considering the trauma it suffered in delivery and it still came out on top .... BIG TIME!

I highly recommend this cart
Exceeded our expectations, I highly recommend this cart. Great design, really easy to assemble (make sure you get the clip on black plastic supports on the legs to clip on correctly and the arrow pointing up on every one - and yes there is a little gap, they do not clip together snugly). It stands solidly, the bamboo cutting board on top is beautiful and a feature alone, and it's great to have the side hooks and useful handle bar to hang things on. We are going to lightly seal the bamboo cutting board to prevent oil or water marks, and use another cutting board on top of it. I really like that you can position the two bottom racks where you want, as well as the hooks and handles. Good price for a useful addition to any kitchen and it stands flush with our kitchen counter height. It looks small, but the space is so well designed, it is ample for more items than I planned to pack on it.Assembly breakdown so that you know what you are in for:4x bottom legs - screw the casters in to the bottom - make sure you put the two wheels with the brakes on the same side when assembling4x top legs that screw into the bottom poles- clip on the black plastic supports for the bottom trays - with the arrows up and they sort of lock and wrap around onto the grooves on the pole- with the castors on the same side, slip the first tray through the poles sliding over the supports you clipped on (it is the one where the skirting lip will point to the floor)- repeat with the black plastic clips supports, adding the second "basket" style stray - both these trays can be positioned where you want them- place the black plastic support clips on each side of the poles for the handle and hooks where most convenient for you, slide them on- last black plastic support clips to add for the final tray with the skirting and lip facing up to support the wooden cutting board-drop the cutting board atop the 4 poles to snugly fit on top of the cart, you will notice under the board where the poles fit in neatly

I really like this cart
The product description is written incorrectly! The shelves are advertised here as having a weight limit of 200lbs, but the installation instructions clearly say the shelves are rated for 150lbs.Don't get me wrong though, I really like this cart. The wheels are on ball bearings and glides very smoothly and are large enough to handle very uneven tiles or that gap spanner between flooring types. When assembled, the cart feels very solid. The assembly is also completed with no tools necessary, although to adjust the shelves after some use might require a rubber mallet to loosen. The cutting board has a good thickness; wasn't made as a decorative cover, definitely feels like it was meant to be used. The bottom shelf was meant to have a lip on the bottom, top shelf was meant to have a lip on the top, but I imagine you could reverse that if you wanted. If you were modeling your kitchen, you could cut some left over granite or quartz to slide into the lip on the top shelf to create a matching surface. If you decide not to have wheels, the product comes with some cheapy hardwood floor sliders, but one could pick up way better ones at home depot or something. The slip sleeves on this product seems to be its potential weakness. It came with 2 extra in case of defect, but if they break over time, the cart will essentially become useless.

Easy to put together
I'm a readily admitted idiot when it comes to putting things together. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, we put it together in about 15 minutes...even with the help of an almost 2 year old toddler. The cutting board is big and the cart will be incredibly useful in her kitchen. The grandson loved pushing it around too!
