I needed a new fixture for my utility room/entry way, the old basic porcelain base fixture with the circline florescent bulb was getting dim and it just looked bad.The install was quite easy but I sort of got carried away with hacking at the ceiling, you'll probably just see it in my uploaded images. Please disregard the other complaints about installing the bulbs. Why they think you need to grab the bulb from the sides or behind is beyond me. It's a push and twist type bulb. Just line up the holes, and give it a little push and it twists securely into place. I removed the old fixture and installed this new one in under 25 minutes.The fixture is nice, made of metal, not plastic, and the lights swivel into any position you'd like. I used 7w LED bulbs also bought on Amazon, and let me tell you, they are bright. Way brighter than any fluorescent or halogen I've seen before. It lights up my kitchen like never before. I will be installing a dimmer switch on it to allow ambient light at night instead of the full blast stadium lighting. For the price of around $34, this fixture is a great deal. The white swirl shades are nice, also easy to just twist securely into place, and the whole thing just looks great. So my kitchen is now probably 5 times brighter than it was, and uses only 28 watts of electricity compared to the 180 watts of the previous fixture. LED lighting is the way to go, and save yourself the money of not buying sylvania brands for $28 a bulb when these were $7 per bulb and work great.

These fit in so nicely with the style of our home. We have an open kitchen/dining/livingroom space and the style of the lights flows nicely with the rest of our home. The reason for 4 stars is primarily the installation. My husband has been spoiled by the ease of Ikea light fixtures and he found this installation troublesome. There were the included mounting brackets he had to install that continued to swivel and made it problematic for an easy installation. Also, there is no S hook included, so his proud, manly soul had to rely in the assistance of his wife to hold the unit while he attached wires, bless his heart.Also, my personal preference is that I wish the shades were a little more off-white or amberish instead of bright white, but aside from the somewhat challenging installation, the light is just lovely and appears really high end for the bargain price!

I was looking for a light fixture that could be potentially utilized in one of four spaces; an entryway, hallway, bathroom or this awkward space at the end of a long dining room / den area near a wood stove surrounded by brick. (Yeah, I know... it's not my favorite either, but the house is paid for so I tend to want to stay here.) Our electrician is going to be removing ugly fluorescent lights which have thankfully died (my husband didn't see the point in replacing 'perfectly good lights'...) in the dining/den and kitchen. Now I have to decide where to use this light fixture or if I will in these areas.I unboxed the fixture and found that it was on par with its price of about thirty-seven dollars. Lightweight metal construction with plastic end caps on the 'S' shaped tubing. The light shades are alabaster white, and there are a few light (almost clear) flaws on one of the shades I received. I can turn that to the wall and it should be OK, but something to note. There were no scuffs or scratches to the bronze finish on the fixture, and at about 2' long, it's a versatile size for several spaces including walk-in closets, pantries and small kitchens in addition to hallways and nooks in your home where you want more light. The lights angle smoothly and could be easily directed.I purchased a pair of dimmer switches at my local warehouse store, and 2 packages (3 packs) Philips LED GU10 lights which are dimmable to use in this fixture. Each light is 50W max and will work with GU10 hallogens or these LEDs - which run much cooler and are more energy efficient.I also purchased this light Hampton Bay 3-Light Antique Bronze Ceiling Bar Track Lighting Kit at a local store for thirty-nine dollars. I'm leaning towards using this one in the dining room as it is also a Hampton Bay fixture and seems to match it more closely in terms of color.As for this fixture, it may end up going on a wall instead of a ceiling. I'm thinking it may work out well as a bathroom fixture, but I'm not sure since humidity may be a factor. Hallway then?The point is, if you don't look too close, this is a great buy. If you are somewhat picky (as I apparently am...) those little things that make this a low end fixture might bug you. It would be a great choice for an upgrade if you are selling your house or if you are a landlord sprucing up a rental, but if you are not planning on changing light fixtures for years to come this may be less desirable for you.I will post photos when it's up and update the review after talking with the electrician. I did look at the installation directions which were so-so, but the light looks simple to install with the basic white, black and ground wires to a single switch. The hardware is included including the caps for the wires, and most people should be able to install it in 30-40 minutes if they have any experience at all. (If not, I suggest YouTube for tutorials as there are several very clear ones on the basics of light fixture installation.)-------------------------------------------------NOTE: This item was not well packaged from Amazon and the box was dented when I received it. I ordered the 4, 3 and 2 fixtures for my kitchen renovation. My original plan was to get rid of the ugly fluorescent box lighting and U.S. The 4 piece as the main source of light, use the 3 piece over the sink and the 2 piece in my small entry way from the garage to the kitchen. My kitchen is not big - maybe 10x10. The 4 piece definitely did not give off enough light to be the main fixture so I put it in the garage entry and kept the 3 piece over the sink. I used LED bulbs since so many of the reviewers commented that the halogen bulbs were hot. Unlike many of the reviewers, I had very little difficulty installing the bulbs. Very easy once you figure out what to do. Insert the bulb, and with pressure from your fingers, press down and twist. These lights look expensive and the lighting it gives off once you adjust placement looks very nice and has a custom feel. Even thought my original plan did not work out, I love the lights. Now to try and find something that puts out a lot of light without haven't to go back to fluorescent!

Bought 3, the seller waited 7 days to ship from BC, delivered within 3 days after shipping to Ontario although it’s PRIME! Not as expected, the size is too small compared to the same one bought from Home depot for the same price but silver colour. The quality is bad and the finishing looks more like black than brown, Not happy with the purchase but don’t want to bother return it.

This light looks great. Better than the cheapo i returned the first time. I used 4 led lights, glass shades give a warm ring around edge.

Easy install - don't electrocute yourself if you don't know what you're about, but this had good working room and enough slack in the wires that I could still manage to get things attached with my sausage fingers.

This lighting went above my bathroom mirror and provides plenty of light. Easy to put up and looks great. The only downside is that I wish it was a bit bigger but that's just a preference. I would recommend.

Très satisfait et vraiment un beau look. Le seul problème est qu'ils devraient fournir une vantouse pour installer les lumières car difficile de les visser dans leurs emplacements.
