3M VHB Tape RP45 Gray, 1'x 36 yd

I have used this tape to hold just about anything from solar panels on top of a van to toilet paper holders on a vanity. Clean surface w/alcohol and let it dry before application.

3M VHB is awesome stuff. It sticks to just about everything and provides semi-permeant adhesion. But, it will also remove cleanly from most materials and any residue can be removed with 3M adhesive remover. There are many variations of VHB, but this "RP45" version was cheaper than most and works great.

We used it to stick flooring onto a wall in our semi's sleeper. Worked really well

Best double sided tape on the market, nothing comes close to VHB.

I’m really not certain what this adhesive is designed to work with. It’s extremely stiff, not particularly sticky, and adhesion is weak at best. I regularly work with adhesive tapes and liquids (commercial applications, including other 3M products) and professionally I can’t imagine what justifies this price for a basically useless product. I invite anyone to advise on proper preparation of and for what applications this tape is designed.

Super strong! So strong that I couldn't remove a brace that I accidentally touched to the substrate before I had it aligned. My only complaint would be that these release liner tears too easily, and for the price I can live with that.
