EasyLife Hemoglobin Test Strips (25pcs./Vial)

I was told a year ago that I'm anemic and put on iron supplements. They didn't seem to help and my doctor would only check my hemoglobin levels every 4 months. And, I was told by a pharmacist that there was no accurate way to check my levels at home. In September, I blacked out while driving and had a head on collision with a pickup truck. I was VERY lucky to have not only survived, but actually walked away with very minor injuries and the other driver wasn't hurt at all. I have since bought the Easy Life glucose/hemoglobin/cholesterol meter and my new doctor not only approves of it, he told me this monitor is actually pretty accurate. So, NOW, any time I feel that something isn't quite right, I can check it myself. Thank you for making these products. Now, I'm not terrified to drive and I'm back to a normal life again.

My wife had been sick and her hemoglobin had been low and her cholesterol has been high, plus other related problems; so we are trying different things to get her blood balanced. The problems is that the doctor only does lab-testing every 3 months, so we never know if our food and iron supplements changes are working. Now since we have been using the EasyLife Hemoglobin, Cholesterol, Glucose, Test Meter Kit and these EasyLife hemoglobin test strips once a week, we have been able to adjust our food and supplements thus getting her hemoglobin in balance.

I use these to help monitor my 15yo vegetarian daughter's anemia. It's not an an iron test but it gives us a general idea where her levels are. of course, you have to have the device to read them.

Got these extra strips and the tester because my wife is on dialysis and her hemoglobin is always changing. As a test we use the meter to check her hemoglobin minutes before her nurse draws her blood for her monthly bloodwork. The numbers never match but are close enough to know approximately where she is. Let's us know if it is dropping too much and we have to talk to her doctor about going to the hospital for a blood transfusion or not.

This product does NOT work! Half the time it won't even read the hemoglobin although the strip is inserted and totally covered with blood! This was a total waste of $70. Please, please don't waste your money on this piece of crap machine!

I've been looking for test strips for my EasyTouch tester, took a chance on these and I'm so glad I did, they work great! Shipping was fast, over all great experience!

This seemed to work okay but the uric acid part and the cholesterol part were horrible

I'm a bit torn about how to write this review. I've used this tester before with good results. Recently I ordered these new test strips, and the company did not include a control strip in the package, making the strips useless. So, I love the product, but no control strip? Bummer.
