Note that it does have some artificial colorings (Blue 1, Blue 2, Red 40), artificial sweetener (aspartame), citric acid, and xanthan gum thickener in it, but those do not detract from the taste one bit. As for the thickness, it is *very* thick! Be careful when you pour out your first measure that you don't overflow - otherwise, you'll be left with a sticky mess. However, if you use the same cup for the water that you use to measure out the concentrate, the concentrate will wash out, believe it or not. If it looks like I'm setting up a negative review, I'm not.
