Q: Would you suggest painting the wall whatever color and then painting over with a clear paint with the sparkles in it?

I painted the first coat of my color as is, and then added the sparkle to the paint to do the second coat and it turned out beautifully. I would think that a clear coat would work but I don’t think it’s necessary.

I am not sure, but it looks pretty

I find that many Mother of Pearl glitters and mica powders color shift in green to pink hues. I don't have this glitter color but that might be what you are seeing.
