Good Quality and value
These are the same quality as those at your local hardware store at a much better price point. There was no issue with the fit and they survived a full, very hot, California, summer in direct sunlight (I used them as part of a garden trellis).

Needs coupling on the 3" side to attach it.
This is not a bushing that fits inside a 3", but it is the same diameter as a 3" schedule 40 PVC pipe and needs a coupling to attach it on the 3' side. (Rufus is wrong as of Feb 2025)

The part has the correct measurements based on the size ordered. There seems to some misconception about how to use this bushing. The are not intended to connect a smaller pipe directly to a larger pipe, they are meant to connect a smaller pipe to the fitting (coupler, elbow, tee) of a larger pipe. Order this part with the correct expectation and you won't be disappointed.

Slightly off-spec
The fittings are a bit looser than ideal for gluing to PVC pipes. You need to use extra glue and care to ensure the gap is completely filled.
